i wanna do immortal bow build.
Someone once told me, being dead and chugging potions all the time are no DPS.

for me bow is all about evading n throwing big damage at the same time. That's why dodgebolt is highly recommended. This is where the evade window+evade extender comes in. Im still looking for the talisman with this 2 skills.
Get a healer palico to heal you so u wont have to use potion most of the time. If you can, try use short range arrow+spread bow. This combination deals the most damage than rapid n pierce.

Exactly. Spread is the meta.
But, need to be close and this where learning to evade and timing of shot is key.
Rapid is good for new player too.

heh? I read that spread is the lowest tier out of the others.

Right now my build is focus on Constitution, Recovery Speed, Stamina Surge, Evade Extender (lvl 1) iirc.

Actually all bow types are good depending on which monsters. I never stick to just one bow. I play around with elementals.
Long monsters, use pierce. But drawback is you need to pierce from head so u will get max hits.
Rapid/spread are good for breaking parts.
Spread, you need to go near for max damage. With close range coatings, it's even nearer. But if all arrows hit target, the damage you deal will be satisfying.

Bow is never about long range only. with the new switch skills coming up, it's gonna be pretty fun

oh interesting. I only stick with Bow with Recovery cause it gives me a sense of security. Chugging potion is way too slow.

now using Kamura Ninja Bow. Just upgraded to it. And managed to get my 2nd Recovery Speed Jewel, farming for the 3rd one. And then will focus on Quickload jewel later.
I'm HR06 only. And i use MHRise Builder to mix and match the build i want.

Did u try the defender bow?
Easy and quick upgrade.
When i started playing mhr this bow not exists.
It is now available for new player to fasten the progress to sunbreak.

Was using it. Already outlived its usefulness. Kamura Ninja bow is already the strongest in its series right now.

Just pre-ordered sunbreak. Is time to go hunting again. 🏹

How do you preload the dlc? It's easier to tell if it's a new game coz the new game icon will be in the home menu if it's being preload. But for dlc how to tell?

Congratz you reach end game. Time to level up till hr20 to unlock urgent request There will be some quests to unlock at certain levels till HR100.
