there are still a few key differences which makes ipad pro is still a worthwhile purchase (taking the 256gb variant into account instead of 64gbb), than just a12 vs a14 comparison

-z/x chipset variant optimized better for ipad
-slightly thinner bezel (ala iphone xr to iphone pro)
-camera setup (not as useful or practical to masses, but still...feature is feature nonetheless)
-quad speaker (the air is stereo but single on each side only)
-display brightness at higher nits
-120hz
-6gb ram (potentially bigger in comparison if we're expecting air 4 to ship with 4gb ram)

so ipad air 4 isn't really an iPad Pro killer.
on the surface yes because of a14 and new design.
but there's more to it which makes Pro is a Pro-tier variant

to simplify, anyone want to taste ipad pro and don't mind giving up on pro features without spending too much(at least not nearing ipad pro pricing territory).
get the baseline ipad air.
with or without cellular totally up to you, win-win situation for either.

i just noticed something, does this mean ipad air 4 is the first apple device to comes with 5g support?

i looked around, same price rm2599 or maybe i am mistaken.

Overall ipad air 4 is RM400 higher than ipad air 3. How your all solve the issue of 64gb not sufficient over periods of time? I neverown ipad before.

To be frank, if u solely use the ipad for media consumption or web surfing, 64gb is more than enough becos u dun take  photos or videos like what u do with iPhone.

If go for 256gb option, I will go with iPad Pro instead becos the price gap is too small.

Apple is so wicked...

Given how much ipad air 4 now cost, it wouldn't surprise me that the new ipad pro will be even more expensive. Damn... talk about pricing strategy. Raise your mid tier pricing to reach top tier and later raise the bar slightly higher with an even crazier pricing.

for me, will be mainly using it for twitch and netflix and youtube
prolly 1 or 2 games installed which are gonna get deleted in two months time
its just nice that the ipad air speaker setup actually making sense

Even though 14 is newer than 12z but I believe that z is special redesign for iPad Pro.
The 8-core GPU is probably still make the 12z faster than 14.

Need wait release of iPad Air 2020 just can know the performance differences.
