I would like to ask any condo by laws in Malaysia regarding main door swinging outwards toward common walkway?

All units on my floor have main door swing inward the unit and do not block the corridor pathway.

My neighbor started renovating and i noticed today their new main door swing outward towards corridor.
The pathway is only around 6 feet (178cm). Their new door swing a little bit more than half the corridor.
They have limited view from their unit when opening the door.
Could be dangerous for ppl on pathway especially young children due to height and blind spot.

Door is also those heavy security door type.

I have contact condo management but they replied no by law doors cannot swing outwards. Ok as long as the door is not installed on walkway.

Will appreciate some advise.

If management no forbid, mean ok?

My previous place also swing outwards but doors do not block walk pathway.
1 floor only 3 units like T shape.

My current place smaller and pathway only 6 tiles wide.
Abit annoying to see heavy bulky door blocking half the pathway to the lift.
Also worried my children get hurt while walking.

Condo management says okay..
Then nothing can be done...

Case close.

Only thing.. needed to be careful...
Also tell them... When open door... Look around.. don't simply open fast2.... Like previous...

Actually there is no where saying that door cannot be swung outward.

However, in UBBL, the is a clause that mentioned about "exit width" which means the corridor must comply to certain calculated width for egress even when the door is fully opened (exit width>corridor width-door width).

That's the only basis that you can argue with the management. But you need to pandai2 calculate the required width. Probably you an reach the architect for the project to get the number or find an architect to calculate the required width.
