Luckily my HM didnt care much abt my hobby  whistling.gif  I told her abt my intention to buy another sub. She told me better buy another pad for my hobby  sweat.gif  since I did tell her that my HT room is a tad too small.
rclxub.gif  his HM wont be that cruel, I guess. Your HM will treat you this way? Btw, browse www.ssav.com. Many offers there. Can ask your HM to buy and bring back.
*
of coz not la... my HM reports to me the PM so of coz she won't do this to me la smile.gif hehe.

anyways, she didn't care much for the HT i got.. gals just don't appreciate good stuff even if it's right in front of them smile.gif

The rated power on the specs sheet is one thing. Real world test is another thing, and it is the most reliable and should be used as the real reference.
*
i agree with u bro... but i bought the 875 without any auditions, just based on good reviews. Besides, it's not easy to find a shop that has stock of both the speakers & receiver combos that you like. But luckily my combo turned out very satisfactory for me.

Thanks.. actually I kinda undeclared onkyo freak since 2003 starting with the TXSR501(rare species that is)...then early in this year change to the 505E!
But weeks back, some dude came to my place and "bodek" me on getting my own demo set as he cant afford the new set that I intend to sell!

Phew.. now i am onkyo "less" almost a month ! cry.gif

Luckily i got Marantz AVR to ease the pain..but it aint the same.. i tell you!
*
yes... i understand. Onkyo has always been known as the power freak AVR for guys who need the 'thump' like me smile.gif

so u getting the discounted bulk 875 @ RM3.3k? that's a hell of a deal i tell ya...

U re not the only one who bought it much more expensive then ppl here offered sad.gif  After "borrow" 606 and 875 for testing few days,i decide not to "return" the 875 smile.gif.I got it at special "wholesale price" but still much expensive then the offered here.(but mine is Asian 110-240v set, those offer here are EU 220v set, should be same?)
honestly, the 875 is HOT like i mentioned earlier.I oledi run it for about 48 hours, continuos about 12 hours per day (from 9.30pm to 9.30am).So far apart from its heat, nothing bad happened.Anyway,i'm very impress with the amp especially the "control" of its surround effect and also the power it handle.I'm sure all of the new owner here will agree they hear "MORE" from their present speaker(esp front spk) compare using their previous AVR.

callmeevil,i compare it to my Denon 3300 and POA-T10,i must say i'm still impress with 875.So i suggest u give 875 a try b4 u decide for denon. smile.gif
*
haha another 875 supporter rclxms.gif

I strongly support ur comments on how wonderful the 875 is..... very powerful flex.gif though i can't comment on comparison to other AVRs because this is me 1st AVR tongue.gif
