Music = YAMAHA, but Movie I think it depends which type of movie you're interested in. If you're talking bout Powerful of the AMP, I think ONKYO seconds to nothing. U can buy some magazine and view some review online. Most of the owners agreed with that.but personally i prefer yamaha than denon
ONKYO's power is like never finished.....try it out and see....Denon more towards clarity I believe.

I'm owning one. Think too powerful for a masterbedroom of 300 sqft. The power is great! Anyway, make sure your HT Room is air-conditioned. Coz' the Receiver is damn hot....u can even barbeque something on top of it while watching movie.If affordable, go for TX-SR 806 now....better coz' got more HDMI in&out.
