Phone is really heavy.

The screen is smooth with that 120hz. Stereo speakers good. Screen is rather sharp and vibrant. Good to have the iR blaster back. Camera is decent. Big battery should be good.

Have been missing a lot of these features since replacing my Mi max 2.

For 799 (I paid 772 after coins), can't really complain. Still downloading apps. Later tonight will give it a go

I have a weird problem with mine. Why I playback WhatsApp voice msgs, the phone bleeps multiple times. Annoying like mad.

Anyone else has this problem?

Was on MIUI 11, but upgraded to MIUI 12 today. Still same problem.

Yeah. Not sure why. First time had this.

Been using mine for a week. Took me a few days to sort out my minor niggles.

Sure, it's not a flagship killer (not intended to) and some optimisations are still needed.

But for the price, I'm not complaining. It's a good mid ranger. And that's all to it .

Not sure what is your beef on the screen though. I'm ok with mine. Fairly colour accurate and bright. Yes the screen refresh don't look much better than 60hz but that doesn't bother me.

Reason I bought mine was for the big battery, dual speakers, updated CPU to replace my 1 year old midrange Honor 9x.

Been using the phone without the case. Seems it has pretty poor edge rejection. Keep accidentally activating the screen even if my fingers just brush the edge.

Weird. Considering this is a flat screen.

Anyone find the same issue of everyone is using the included TPU case?

Can easily cast wirelessly to any smart TV right? Nowadays not so much a problem.

Yes, the phone only has usb 2, so no video out support.

Actually fits really well.

That's odd. I never had any ads on Chrome on any of my present and past MIUI devices.

The ads are usually on the factory MIUI apps, which I rarely use and when installing a new app (the MIUI app scanner serves up ads)

Other than that, I don't feel the ads are intrusive. Hardly see them.

I can't seem to find pattern unlock on the phone. Did MIUI get rid of it?

Having a bit of problem with my waterproof bike case. Obviously can't use the fingerprint sensor, and face unlock keep telling me the sensor is blocked.

Maybe I will just use it caseless with face unlock,. Have to get a new mount.......since supposedly this has some minor waterproofing. Can't use the fingerprint with gloved hands obviously.

Nevermind. Found it. Turns out you can either have pin or pattern, not both...
