may i know why do we unlock the bootloader? what's the benefit?

Just received mine today. Super slow delivery. Found out that it was stuck in customs in KK. I'm in Sarawak so the package comes thru KK.

First impression, I would say it is an excellent buy for the price. If you're coming from another mid range device, then this will feel good. Screen is not that bad to be honest. I was rather scared that it would be really bad after reading so many bad comments about it. I need a few more days of setting up and playing around to know more about any issues. But already the vibration from the speakers ppl keep telling is getting rather annoying. It's not a deal breaker by any means, you just need to live with it if you're planning to get the X3

Finally successfully flashed to eu rom 

Buggy phone. Screen has double touch issues. The snapdragon860 after 1 month u will get bored of it if u barely play any games.
Camera is inconsistent. Sometimes ok, sometimes pics look crap
If u use umobile, duno why the line keep dropping. Regretted selling my realme 6 phone. So much better phone even though using mediatek.
Anyway bought redmi 9t for my staff for only 399. Sold out within half an hour, crazy
