One thing I love about this phone is the screen. Its pretty bright and its simply gorgeous to look at when watching Netflix in HD. Its comparable to my Mi 9T which have amoled screen. But still can't beat the viewing angle of the amoled. Nonetheless, still pretty looking. Now this phone has become my main phone to watch Netflix then only Mi 9T. I never watch Netflix on my R6pro anymore haha

AMOLED is inherently better at contrast and sunlight legibility.

Another notable perks is lower power consumption when displaying majorly dark background. Each pixels can effectively be powered off when displaying totally black background, unlike LCD tech which still require some backlight even displaying black background. Always on display is a tech mainly found on phone with OLED display because of this issue.

Also, it generally have lower minimum brightness, which is helpful when using your phone in pitch black room (but note that i said generally, it subjected to model by model basis).

The issue with AMOLED is it can subject to burn in or degradation of colour accuracy as it aged. Therefore the industry is investing in micro-LED next, a non-organic alternative to it which should mitigate the aging issue of OLED.

In fact, dark theme on an LCD screen would negatively impact your battery saving.

The obvious conclusion is, if you have a smartphone with an LCD (not uncommon*) or laptop or tablet with an LCD (almost universal), dark mode has no impact on battery life.

First we're going to disable MSA (MSA stands for “MIUI System Ads")
Go to: Settings > Passwords & Security > Authorization & Revocation
Disable "msa", sometimes you have to wait a few seconds before disable it, or even re-try again. This can take a minute.

Next > Go back (In Authorization & Revocation) > And go to Privacy > Ad Services And disable "Personalized as recommendations"

MiU:
Folders: Hold the name of the folder, the same if you want to change the name of the folder. Disable the "Promoted apps" below to remove ads. Unfortunately this process has to repeated on every folder you use.
(Note: EU versions doesn't have ads in system software)
Themes: Personalized (Bottom right) > Settings > Disable "Show ads" & "Personalized recommendations"
Google Store: Install a app (doesn't matter what) after installing it switch to another screen (scanning) > Settings (Right above corner) > Disable "Receive recommendations"


Next up are the MiU Apps:
Security App: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Recieve recommendations"
Mi Music: Settings (Left above startup screen) > Advanced Settings > Scroll down > Disable "Show ads" You can also Disable "Online Content services" as well.
MiBrowser: Personalized (Bottom right) > Settings (Right above corner) > Scroll down > Other > Advanced > Disable "show ads"
Mi Video: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Personalized recommendations"
Downloads: Settings (Right above startup screen) > Disable "Show recommended content"

should not have an isu if u couldn't get > 10hr sot

me unplug at 7am n play games, wasap, fb, browsing, etc n battery left 15% at 7pm. plug charger n go bath, dinner for 30mins.
come back battery aldy 60% enough till 11pm before i sleep
