1. Relocate bathroom door to the red line
2. Relocate bedroom door to the red line facing the dining area
(Reason plan to do this is to get more cabinet space in the kitchen)
3. Extend the kitchen until the blue line(Estimated 5ft)

Thank you!
Minor reno costs, Relocate door and extend back wall

QUOTE(Snoy @ Sep 16 2020, 08:19 PM) If the new bedroom door opening hit any wiring, then the cost will go up too. Trying to get a sense of the cost to set aside some reno budget...New development house so house not ready yet Anyway, getting the quotation from actual contractor is better than asking here. QUOTE(nexona88 @ Sep 16 2020, 06:20 PM) hack / break the wall so can fit the new door.... put on brick on the "old" door place/location. plaster back with cement (got tiles on the bathroom?? then needed to put up new tiles too for the old door place new door frame? cheapsake use back old door frame extend kitchen.. another brick wall.. correct.. hmm... my noobie cost estimation could be around 5k to 8k like that QUOTE(sonerin @ Sep 16 2020, 07:12 PM) Thanks guys for the estimation...Looks like I better just set a budget of 10-15k for this job to be safe.. |
