It should be isolated from the design (i.e. non conductive hose/plastic part for storage WH).
Electricity leakage best prevented by installing a 10mA RCD for the WH circuit.
Example in
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=98013150 (the ABB one)
What this 10mA RCD do is like a very detailed accountant, whatever current in must balance current return out.
If current kena songlap more than acceptable value of 10mA, shut down whole thing because songlap means the current is leaking somewhere (typically thru the poor fella taking bath). Little bit of leakage at 10mA or so will not kill a person but it will trigger the 10mA RCD to trip. You should get one from a reputable brand (ABB Hager Schneider).
yes...the developer didnt install the rcd initiall...the wireman also didnt triggered about rcd...
now change new tank need to add 10mA rcd...
to prevent same incident happened again ...

Purely because of aesthetic reason.
Instant water heater looks out of place in the bathroom.
so the only way is storage tank heater...
