any fellow forumers having issues with Affin's EIP?
I tried my usual Affin Invikta 24 mths 0% - ngek, even though it meets the minimum spend of $2K. Even my Shopee transaction too

emailed Affin but knowing their speed.. it'll be 3-4 days before anything.

If i paid my bill before statement date, previous balance becomes rm0, means this month cb is capped at 50?

Recently no, about a year ago yes. Just call affin to ask for new card. That'a what i got.

The fraud amount will be on hold awhile. Affin takes awhile to refund it. About 2 months if i recall.

Refund come in after the cashback deducted will not affect previously given cashback. But it will affect your current statement calculation.

E.g. you refund RM500, this month you need to spend RM 1500 to get RM30 cashback (rather than RM1000). Alternatively you can see it as not getting cashback for your first RM500 spend.

Some banks even better, will 'deduct' cashback from you (charge you) if you don't spend that RM500. Maybank did this before. So if your current statement has RM300 spend and RM500 refund (amount spent in previous statement) then they will 'charge' you RM6 in 'cashback'. Not sure whether Affin does this.
It isn't really deduct back, but yes should spend that refund amount.

If refund is on same statement then there's a few possibilities:-

1. Already overspend more than refund amount - obviously no issue
2. Spent almost exactly correct amount - this one should reduce the cashback earned (e.g. you spent RM1666.67 for RM50 cashback, refund RM200 you should get less than RM50)
3. Partial refund - if the refunded amount is not the full amount of the transaction, it may not be 'linked' hence not affect cashback at all.

Regardless, this will still affect your statement balance, so may affect your next month's cashback (if you're the group that always statement balance of RM3050 so that next month can get full RM50).

yes OLD VS got t&c when wave enter pin, will count as pin transaction.

But in duo+ t&c never mentioned that.
