besides PBB and MBB amex, any other bank gives 4-5%?
*
if u are online transaction user, can consider uob yolo 5%
but first come first serve capped cashback unlike amex n affin n pbb
so basically u need top up ewallet/ spend within first week for cashback....

ambank true visa only 3%....capped at rm30....mostly for online transaction(not utilities&insurance)
so if compare with ambank, i think affin duo still better since 3% capped at rm50(if new tnc kick in) and can use for utilities & insurance auto debit....

since now dont have any confirmation yet, might as well stick to affin duo first since the anniversary is around oct/nov....

Yes, u need to start spending RM3080 before ur next statement fall in June which will be ur previous balance for July
If u got BT or FPP can deduct from it but still need min RM2667 for max RM80
*
the new tnc is work on july right?

if my statement date is 15may to 14june, i think wont be affected by the new tnc right? i mean 2667 for 80...

but for statement 15june to 14july, then need to swipe 3080 for 80?

did i miss anything?

you need to look at how your statement works (i already shared the screenshots earlier)

BLUE highlights -- 15may to 14june -- you still need to accumulate new statement balance of RM3k or more. why? read below.

RED highlights -- 15june to 14july -- in this statement, it captured YOUR PERVIOUS BALANCE. so, where does this amount comes from?
*
oh i seeee......
i get what u mean.....
i think i confuse by the previous statement and statement balance......

thanks alot ya thumbup.gif
sometime miss the important information

example from affin

user posted image
*
based on the example, the cashback will reflect on 18nov2021 statement....

but didnt mention the cashback will counted as 18oct o 18nov cashback?

* coincidence my-tnb spend rm3080 on 12sept posted on 14sept (statement date 14sept)
no cashback given.....
i wonder should i spend during my 15sept-14oct period.....
if i spend rm3080(15sept to 14oct 21), will i get rm80(aug to sept 21) + rm80(sept to oct 21) cashback for my 14oct statement? or only one rm80 cashback?

anyone experience before?
thank in advance for your information.....

i think/hope you should. the spending is already reflected on your statement right?
*
QUOTE(cybpsych @ Sep 22 2021, 06:52 AM)
blue highlights: same lor. "cashback will reflect on 18nov..." = cashback counted as 18nov lor

green highlights: 3080 already posted on 14 Sep (in the statement) = no cashback but statement balance already >3k

orange highlights: you should still spend 3080 between 15sep-14oct in order to achieve ≥3k statement balance as of 14oct mah (to qualify 80 cb next cycle).

red highlights: you will only get 1 cashback per statement cycle, which is 80 cb (carry-forwarded cb for your 3080 tnb payment)
*
thank for your highlight bro.....

called CS for confirmation....
the 15aug to 14sept statement cycle cashback will carry forward to 15sept to 14oct statement......
capped at rm80 cashback per statement cycle....my 12sept rm3080 spending already maxed the cashback.....
mean i wont get any cashback for my 15sept to 14oct spending....

then no point to swipe the card this month....
trouble abit go 7E pay the bill with tng for better cashback....

rm6160 for rm80 cashback are too low.....

But if you dont spend in the current cycle, your balance wont be 3000 in the next cycle for the higher tier cashback?
*
QUOTE(beLIEve @ Sep 22 2021, 11:33 AM)
as mentioned by thecurious - the catch here is, if you don't spend now, you lose the cashback next cycle.
*
frankly say, i use the affin duo for easy cashback compare going 7E

actually for rm50, we just need to spend rm1667....

the extra spent rm 1413 (3080-1667) can easily get cashback more than rm30 with tng top up n pay bill at 7E....
i dont mind 3% compare to other card 5% to skip the hassle....
not even mention there are tng top up which up to 10% cashback like hsbc/ambank tng top up campaign .....

but until 0 cashback for the spending.... < unacceptable.... doh.gif

* skip current month spending. Swipe for next month 3080 still entitle cashback rm50. 1.62% compare to 0

already said no rebate lor, regardless of spend condition or not

only possible way is to cancel the card.
better dont waste time with cancellation unless you want to. else, rm25 can be easily recovered from monthly rm80 cb

Btw, the SST can appeal like PBB cards mou?  tongue.gif

Should be no problem for telecommunications payment

The only utility payment not entitle is syabas as far as I know(CS told me that syabas is under gov)
