Thanks for sharing your professional views with us, it was really helpful going through this thread. Just collected key for my new landed home and I have no idea how to utilize the spaces available effectively

So many question in my mind but dun even know where to start .. headache ..

Can give a few pointers how to gel the areas together? pls refer attachment for the options we have in mind now.

is it possible to fit in an island (wife wish list ) in the dry kitchen area ? or a L shape is better ?

Hi Lefty , this place will be home for 2 working adults with 2 children below 10 yo. Occasionally, our parents might come over for a short stay. Yeah was thinking of study/working area but not using any of the room, was thinking of using the family area in between the first floor rooms.
