Yes. When you got your new car (used or bran new) with your hard earned money, you will not forget to take care of your car need. Wash weekly. Check battery water level after each washing. Topping it even level dropped by 1mm .After some time you get lazier and lazier and ahhh... maybe later ...or next week it since water level will not drop that much
Last time the MF was significant in price difference. Now the price is not much different, so I just get the MF and not bother checking water lever anymore
These was my observation between both battery types over years of owning cars. I would say no advantage or dis advantage if you choose either one. The maintenance full once if end of life, you can pour out all the water and pour new acid to rejuvenate it and still good probably at least another 6 months.
