very wasteful for just going out to take away something then throw away. I just use Easycare or mr DIY mask. Easycare is cheap and comfy so far.

Do not use double surgical mask. Will worsen the fit. Even Medicos 4-ply also no use when fit is loose. Use cloth mask on top of surgical mask or like me, KF94 or Medicos C-fold. Both are quite cheap (Respack kf94 made in my rm30 for 20pcs) and can use a few times before throw. Sidenote: I will only use made in Malaysia mask. MIC mask too inconsistent in quality. Strap break all the time. Many places like CDC tested Chinese manufacturers mask and found same mask model different batch different quality.

sad that many are not aware of the reason for wearing the cloth mask outside which is to cover the loose side fitting of the disposable surgical mask. went to PPV for vaccination and saw many still wear double surgical face mask.

i go for double surgical becoz i want to cover the loose side fitting as well ...i did check and its nicely fit with a medicos cover with Top Mask.

how do you evaluate the performance ... to say best ?

have you seen the test reports if they comply to the specs that say/as stated on the box ?

been tryin to google to find but not found yet...

i think most dont comply ... like 90 % of mask on sale out there .
there a a few i saw on lax/shopee that provide pix of their test data form lab .

1. 4-ply mask from DonDonDonki (going out to public but not crowded places)
2. Xeralife Decontaminator Air Mask (going out to crowded places)
3. Pitta mask from DonDonDonki (least protection, only used for going down to collect parcel/letters on ground floor lobby)

look at the ATSM they declared and the lab report provide.

medicos is a reputable brand , so i dont worry about it....

normally i pair medicos with Top Mask , Top mask inside and medicos at outside . can seal the face very well....

i went to medicos site to check but not able to find any attach independent lab test reports .
the neutrovis site too ..no data. only claims.

this already for me a red flag. if you claim so good but no show the proof with a lab test report ??

on the FDA site ..can see many submitted mask from reputable companys worldwide. ... they fail the fda test for that spec..
i saw test data of one famous/ reputable brand mask . they fail test with BFE 61 % but they claim > 95 %

i think i am not asking too much if i want to see the lab data ...
just want to be real sure before buy / recommend a mask .

are the majority wearing cheap 1 RM china mask at risk ... that s why covid cases is v high ?
covid spread is high in gatherings like church , big dinners party etc.. means spread is via the Air.

cos no info on the lab test .
a good mask need certification like FFp2 , N95 , KF comply .. example....
you can see some will stated in BIG ... N95 , FDA comply .or other...
and some will proudly attach the lab test reports. i feel this is important to see.

well , if it still doesnt convince u, u got to make ur mask urself.

i only trust medicos and top mask. coz they are locally made ..made in msia

If medicos also cannot be trusted then I don't know what can be already. Frontliners in UM all use Medicos, and their tests are done by Nelson labs and Sirim. Way more trusted than a screenshot of cert on Shopee.
