I staple the sides of my medical mask so they don't open up and leave gaps on the cheek area.
For KN95 I staple the bottom where. it tend to split

i wear medicos + Top mask together...medicos at outside .... might feel uncomfortable , but normally i go out not more than 1hour ... so it is still acceptable for me ....
Do not use double surgical mask. Will worsen the fit. Even Medicos 4-ply also no use when fit is loose. Use cloth mask on top of surgical mask or like me, KF94 or Medicos C-fold. Both are quite cheap (Respack kf94 made in my rm30 for 20pcs) and can use a few times before throw. Sidenote: I will only use made in Malaysia mask. MIC mask too inconsistent in quality. Strap break all the time. Many places like CDC tested Chinese manufacturers mask and found same mask model different batch different quality.
and i am still skeptical . as most are marketing words. cos no info on the lab test . a good mask need certification like FFp2 , N95 , KF comply .. example.... you can see some will stated in BIG ... N95 , FDA comply .or other... and some will proudly attach the lab test reports. i feel this is important to see.
If medicos also cannot be trusted then I don't know what can be already. Frontliners in UM all use Medicos, and their tests are done by Nelson labs and Sirim. Way more trusted than a screenshot of cert on Shopee.
