Errr... so, the VoLTE icon/symbol disappears DURING calling to non-VoLTE line....?

Us Digi customers are in deep shit. Went into BIG supermarket at Ikano last week - lower Ground floor - and I had an Edge connection. Couldn’t even load MySejahtera.

Umobile shutted down its 3g here in terengganu, previously running at 900mhz at my house. Now they're using the same band for 4g. At least now instead of getting only 3g i could enjoy 4g too. The bad news is now the signal is totally gone at night, maybe they're still doing site upgrade but fck its frustrating when suddenly losing signal while using internet

*#0011# only shows the band number.

Example:
Band 8 means 900MHz
Band 3 means 1800MHz
Band 1 means 2100MHz

Celcom 3G is now completely gone/non existent in my area.
I am sure that the network is still there at yesterday.
It can be deemed problematic as the device I am using for that SIM (unifi mobile) is not VoLTE ready, meaning 2G EDGE for calls and in areas with poor signal. Well it is not my main SIM so nevermind.

Got a call from maxis to change my 3G phone to 4G phone. But the phone is used by my mum for making calls only. So 2G is sufficient and i dont have the change the phone for her, right?

Does anyone know when umobile is going to shut down their 3G ? Want to test out if calls can go from umobile 4G to maxis 2G without dropping, if not need to change out d

Erm, 31 Dec 2021?
It's just 2 more weeks before we enter into 2022, so just wait la..
We all can try test making calls on non-VoLTE phones on 1 January 2022 and see how it happens.

still have u mobile & maxis 3G here at my home in kampung. maxis suddenly reactivate 3G here for some reason at some point in mid dec

nearby town still has 2 above plus celcom

Actually having headache why Celcom's 4G to 3G/2G handover (for making & reciving calls) is messy right now at my house since 3G shutdown thingy

And our family's Celcom/yoodo SIM (left & right one in the picture below) for some reason won't connect to 2G... even if it did, it'll just go back to no service after few moments (Celcom's 2G signal is not that weak at our house, the Celcom/unifi/yoodo SIMs locked to 2G only for purpose of detecting 2G signal)

Unifi 4G to Celcom's 2G handover works just fine  :confused:, even the unifi SIM sticks to Celcom's 2G just fine without any issue if I set it to 2G only
