Another way to fixing it: you can disable the ACHI /RAID function in BIOS, then windows installation process will skip the SATA RAID page, then you no need to get a latest winxp cd OR usb fdd during windows installation.

because raid function is not useful for laptop user.

Just disable the "native sata" option in your BIOS

 

Change to:

0.0304sec    0.71    7 queries    GZIP Disabled
