Hi people... is there anyone who can teach me how to install Windows XP on a Compaq Presario CQ45-145TX notebook... this notebook model is running on Intel 2.4 GHz - P8600 ICH9m Chipset... I've got no idea on how to get the SATA/RAID controller driver working... after I press 'F6' and Select the SATA driver, the XP installation goes blue screen... what can I do?? Sorry if I sound silly but can anyone help me please??

Added on December 4, 2008, 7:20 amOh... for additional information... I'm using a XP Pro SP2 CD... with f6flpy3286.zip SATA driver downloaded from Intel website... I used a USB FDD and choose ICH9M Driver... however, the XP installation turned blue screen...

did i miss a step? must i use XP SP3? did i use the correct SATA driver?
