There's no real cure for it. It's an immune disorder. The steroid cream is an immune suppressant, that's why it's "effective".

See it from an allergy point of view. You're allergic to something & each time you triggered your allergy, your eczema flares up. So try to identify what triggers your eczema & avoid it like a plague.

Also, stop taking sugar & gluten may probably help too. Focus on eating clean.

Back then i have the same problem but worst than you. From head to toe my skin are almost rotten, filled with blood and big patches of poxes with some unidentified liquid in it so i cannot sit on chairs without a cooling pad. Then i went to Sime Darby to consult a specialist, its a woman but I've forgotten her name. She prescribed me some kind of cream and tablets. At first month i can see my skin is recovering by following the prescription but after that it just came back again. Then again went to see the specialist and got me another type of cream and medicines. Later on I slowly recover.

Now only i find out, you hadn't consult a doctor about it? A piece of advice, dont simply buy any cream and put on it yourself, your skin might not take it.

Focus on internal healing, it's better for autoimmune disorders in the long term. Despite me being an eczema skincare seller, I still tell people that.

You go 2nd, 3rd or more rounds to the doctor, they'll just give you a higher dose of steroid only. The purpose is just to suppress the immune system & let your body heal by itself over time. Sometimes the triggers are still active, so that's why even after the steroid effect is over, the eczema will flare back up again. Nothing our modern meds can cure eczema. Just manage the flare ups only.

Apart from food,  also watch out for irritants from detergents, clothing materials, dust mites, mold and even sweat.

Be careful on the skin soap you use. You may also try calendula hydrosol application on the affected areas.
