Not sure how to get the new birth cert with dual language, but from my friends experience with applying PR in SG, you can pay some fee to get it translated and authenticated at the court

^This. Absolutely correct. I used court appointed translator in PJ court last time.

Hmmm, the parents of the birth cert owner will need to present his or her IC and the birth cert owner's IC too. Pay RM5 and will get the new birth cert on the spot!

Please let me know if this will produce a birth cert in English, as I'm really curious.

Our family had to produce all our birth certs in English, for .... something overseas. My eldest sibling's birth cert was entirely in English, so that was okay. Mine had English and Malay, as in Nama/Name, but then the details were written in Malay, as in Pekerjaan Bapa/Father's occupation : Pegawai tentera, so I had to get a translation made. My younger siblings all had their entire birth certs in Malay.

The translation cost RM 80 (I think) with the court translator, chopped and signed and official. So, post back in this thread, I am sure I am not to only one who wants to know. Good luck in whatever you require the translation for.
