Do Digi send stupid spams to you guys everyday like what Hotlink did?
*
I get one or two spams from Digi per month. Not too annoying really, some of them have come at antisocial times like 6am.

For the 36 cents per minute, do we have to actually use up to RM30 or it will be activated even if we don't use that much, but reload RM30 every month?
*
Must use. Once you reach that point each month, you get a notification "Your tariff tier has changed".

I converted my current DiGi prepaid to postpaid, they said within 48 hours and to be exact, mine was less than 10 minutes. sweat.gif

Did mine on Friday. They told me three business days, so I didn't bring the new SIM card with me on Friday night. Sure enough, as soon as I was at a restaurant trying to connect with my friends, "SIM Registration Failed" - it had only been about 2 hours since I was at the Digi store. Had to go back home and get the new card. But now it's working well.

if u do want to convert from prepaid to postpaid, where can you do it?
There are like 5~6 Digi Centres , this process can only be done there?
*
I did at ground floor Low Yat, which I think is just a third-party store with a lot of Digi branding stuff on the walls.

No more free 365 days offer

Digi must be very happy with how they are doing in the MNP game. Otherwise I would expect they'd keep it free; it's an easy way to demotivate customers from porting away.

I don't know the purpose for using Digi's gateway. I just use my normal email server and it works.

QUOTE(forrest @ Oct 9 2008, 09:54 PM)
future Digi user here...

can anyone advice me what is the different between the postpaid "friends and family" and Digi postpaid "1 family"?

Especially the Digi postpaid 1 family, I saw it on the Digi website, it stated "free calls, free sms and free mms up to 6 supplementary lines", is it totally "FREE" calling between the main line and supplementary line??

If I register a DG50 plan, can I make a supplementary line and enjoy the "unlimited FREE" call/sms/mms between the main line and supplementary line??

Any charge to the supplementary line??

Appreciate if someone wiling to answer me, thanks.
*
With 1 Family:

Main line - RM50 commitment/month
Each supplementary line - RM30 commitment/month
Both lines get same rate for calls to any normal Malaysian handphone or fixed line number - RM0.13/minute

Totally free call/SMS/MMS between main line and supplementary lines, in either direction. They are like ghost calls, don't even show up on the bill. It's very liberating to be able to chat anytime and never think about the charges.

I don't know about calls between two supplementary lines; I just have one supp. I would guess those calls are free too.

but now still thinking of using it or not because i not sure that i will use rm 50 permonth and if i subscribe it then i not using it fully then no use also right?
*
Yes, you pay RM50 even if you don't use that much.

Better to consider how much you are currently spending. If you are right now spending RM50/month, then by switching to Digi postpaid you pay the same amount but have the freedom to use the phone more.
