how to cancel caller ringtones?
*
Compose a SMS

CT OFF

Send to 2000

You shall receive a confirmation SMS from 2000. Reply with "YES" and send to 2000. You shall deactivate the service. 1 outgoing SMS will charge you 15cents when you send to 2000.

Regards.

ur credit will be - suddenly de .. den when u emergancy nid use no $$ haha

Sometimes is due to system congestion so the deduction is abit slow. But it hardly happens.
Sometimes balance becomes negative also due to their system congested hence there is a delay in deduction. Let's say now you left 10cents. You send 1 SMS (consider as 5cents per sms). By right you can only send max 2 SMS. But you sent them both and system still not yet deduct the credit so your a/c status is still under ACTIVE status. Maybe after 1 hour only the system starts updating all the transactions and found out you sent 50 smses thus they deduct RM2.50 total. Then in the end your balance becomes -RM2.40.

Secondly for GPRS Data Usage, do remember that system will take approximately 2 hours to update all the transactions. Hence again the theory is same like above.

QUOTE(DiGi @ Aug 7 2008, 04:23 PM)
i have problems like my friend try sms me but always get sending fail error. Anyone have tis problem with DIGI? I send to everyone no problem
*
Okay, this problem is again due to system (of course if this is not your phone/sms centre problem). It normally does happen when you do perform a reload to active back your line (which means your validity already expired before reload).

Solution: Do check your SMS Center and make sure it is +60162999902 and of course to make sure SMS Centre In Use is the correct one

If this is correct and there is no problem with your phone i.e Inbox full etc.

Then call to DiGI Helpline 016-2211800 and this is due to their system problem and they will help you to reset it. It takes probably around 15minutes.

Hope this helps smile.gif

I've heard about if digi primary line call supplementary line no need money rite? Which package is the cheapest that i can suscribe and enjoy such rates?
*
That is applicable for minimum

Principal Line --> DIGI50 (RM50 commitment fee)
Supp. Line ------> One Family (RM30 commitment fee)
(Free Voice Calls, SMS, MMS between these 2 lines)

If you take Family Basic as your Supp. Line plan. You will not enjoy free calls to your main line but a 35% discount instead.

Digi20(RM20 Monthly Fee) is not applicable for this cause if you take DiGi20. You cannot subscribe for One Family as your supp. line

Remember to always DIFFERENTIATE between COMMITMENT FEE & MONTHLY FEE..

Many people always misunderstood then they went on to subscribe the wrong package

But when those in oversea using Digi reply the sms, it will cost them more than triple of the cost.
Even answering phone call calling from Malaysia, they will be charged also.
*
Yes
When you are in overseas. You are basically "renting" overseas' network/base station to use your service. That's why whether your line can connect to their overseas network is also depends on those Telcos' Roaming Agreement. That's why sometimes you might see your line might not be able to connect to certain network in some overseas countries if they don't have roaming agreement with your respective Telco (but this happens rarely).

Example: SingTel (Singapore) agreed with DiGi that they can allow DiGi users to use their network when they come to Singapore and with certain terms and conditions, agreed on the price DiGi has to pay them if their subscribers using SingTel's network.

Impossible DiGi can simply just build a base station at other countries so they need to rent. Perhaps we can call it something like a rental fee. That's why it is not cheap.

With the Super SMS coming up. Now we can surely see an increased of users in DiGi. Surely this plan is very very attractive.

I've always refused to port to DiGi from Hotlink for a reason - network issue and perhaps Hotlink less promo but better network.

Well now I have seen the promo seems much better and worth going to. But I still didn't port, infact I get another DiGi number and use 2 lines now. Perhaps I will give Maxis another chance or till DiGi's network is much improved. I will be contented with just 1 line. smile.gif

there still a problem. If u have alot friends stay with maxis its useless

because its only for digi to digi.
*
I used to think that. But with MNP and plus DiGi coming out such a plan. I do expect there might be some improvement on this.

To be frankly, 85% user in my Phone Book are all Maxis/Hotlink users.
But I do have a friend on DiGi that I SMS frequently too.

So it is worth for me to have a DiGi line and above are also part of the reason I am still with my Hotlink till in future then we shall re-look into it.

End of the day, it is all depends on your own usage/needs to see which suits you more. smile.gif

Lolz...
The 3000 points and 6000 points as far as I'm concerned is not a guaranteed gift. They launch a promotion and you can redeem 3k or 6k points to participate in the "DRAW". If you are selected then only you will get the phone.

Of course if you aren't selected, no points will be deducted.

Anyway, it is promo dependant. Always refer to T&C or call to DiGi to get a clearer and correct answer. smile.gif

It is not necessarily first come first serve basis anyway. Possibility is always there, if it is impossible... there is no reason for DiGi to come out the promo right? smile.gif

of cause u can!! just pop in any digi centre or digi specialized store to change!!what is the reason u want to change, i though postpaid is much cheaper in-term of call rate

Emm
I don't think so DiGi Postpaid can convert to Prepaid. At least for now.

But since the porting system is there you may port to other service provider for their own prepaid then and perhaps port back to DiGi after sometimes? lolz...
