ermm... not sure what are u saying but if i understand u correctly, u were saying if DIGI do not force us to load value, how do they earn money right?

I understand that but certain countries like in UK, when we buy a prepaid number, that number won't expire if you don't reload. This is because, when we pay for the sim card, we buy the number. Whether you call or not is up to you. Remember, when someone call to that prepaid number, someone is paying for that call!!!

Maybe Malaysia has to move on... haihhh... i just lost my nice number...  9000 347

Can't blame Malaysia's telco company. New prepaid simcard in Malaysia is soo cheap. I am not sure how much is it in UK.

My friend lose his nicer number.

He keep that number just because the number is nice, but forgot to top up, and got terminated. Called DiGi centre, but it is too late sad.gif

can i know digi subline can check postpaid balance throught online?

any1 know the website?

You can only check itemised billing online.
You can't check your total used amount provided your supp line name is different with your main line name.

i thought though the digi website u can check how much u used.? just slowly count 1 by 1 the sms and the calls. they dun have total how much u used.
*
This happen to me also. Got tired counting one by one.
You still can have a solution, which is you and the owner of the line to go to customer service and transfer the supp line to your name. The bill will be addressed to you, and you can check your own total balance.
Too bad the owner of my line is my mom, and she's not free to go to CS. sad.gif

I would like to ask this question:

If I would like to buy a Digi prepaid SIM card now for a new number, I need to register face 2 face. I do need my IC. They will just look at my IC or they will scan it?

Thanks.
*
They will just see and key in the details. They won't scan it smile.gif

So between DG20 and Optimum plan, which one will you choose?

Access fee - Same (RM20)
Call rate - DG20 flat rate RM0.20, Optimum RM0.30
SMS rate DG20 flat rate 15cents, Optimum 5 cents -> 016 and 15cents -> other network
MMS rate - DG20 flat rate 25cents, Optimum 25cents -> 016 and 50cents -> other network.
Charging block - DG20 30 seconds, Optimum 12 seconds.

I am still thinking should I change the plan for my mom..

MNP is useful especially for those who don't elder people who don't like to change number.
But it will be bad for us to determine which telco is he/she using. Wondering is there any way to determine the telco he/she using. hmm.gif

If you are using digi as main line, why not u supp line to your mom? the supp line only cost abt RM10 access fee if you not getting the 1family plan. And if you separate account for your supp line, and put it in auto-billing, then u get another rebate of RM5, so you are paying RM5 for supp line access fee.
*
I am using supp line from my father. My mom's is the main line.

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jul 14 2008, 12:49 PM)
eh, i thought the old plan no more? it's auto convert to the new plan, i mean the rate. if im not wrong
*
No, they won't convert our old plan. It is up to us whether we wanna convert or not.

QUOTE(cofin @ Jul 15 2008, 11:29 PM)
Wan to ask ..... the DG20

Isit paying RM20 is included with call charges up to RM20 per month ?

Or every month need to pay RM20 for the line then call charges count separately ?
*
RM20 is the access fees, no matter how much you use, you still needa pay RM20 monthly.

My mum is uing optimum plan. So, she still can maintain using this optimum plan?
*
Yes, of course. We customers have the right to maintain our old line. Not everyone likes the new plan.
You just can't use the old plan if you are opening the new line.

Actually my mum using optimum plan, and monthly fee is RM20. But, she only pay rm10 monthly fee (she got RM10 rebate for using credit card to pay bill). Hehe...  tongue.gif

My mum said under new plan, DG20, every sms to all networks (including DiGi) is RM0.15, and she said it's expensive... sweat.gif

Currently, i using both DiGi Ambassador Plan and MTV Powerpack prepaid . I really DiGi loyal fans! biggrin.gif
*
Yea, the optimum plan is still better. And we got RM10 rebate also because she's using the main line.

I used MTV Powerpack before, but I lost my old prepaid simcard.
I should have claimed back, but when I realize my mistake, it is already expired. sad.gif

How is the Ambassador plan? The commitment fee and the rate?
As I know, it is no more free sad.gif

Ok. I got few questions to ask regarding Digi prepaid. If I'm asking in the wrong thread please ignore my question.

Anyways, I am gonna buy Digi prepaid since I'm attracted to the itemised billing feature. From the website it seems like in order to have my name and address on the billing, I have to have loyalty benefits or something. But I couldn't find this anywhere in the website. Can someone tell me what actually this is?

I'm also thinking of subscribing to Digi Postpaid since to be able to enjoy EDGE at 66/month I have to be postpaid user. What is the cheapest plan for postpaid? I have 2 option.

1) Use the cheapest plan only to enjoy EDGE and not using the line at all.
2) Subscribe to plan that have the best call n sms rate and use DiGi as my main number (currently using Hotlink)

What do you guys think? Help me out here.
*
Before proceeding to any plan, I would like to know how much you use every month?

I saw in digi website under then Digi Postpaid 1 Family From 1 Plan. It stated Free Calls, Free SMS. Thats also if i exceed RM123?

http://www.digi.com.my/postpaid/digi_postp...st_call_1fam.do

At the very bottom of the page, it says
Note 1: * Free calls/SMS/MMS is only applicable between Principal (1 Plan) and Supplementary(1 Family).

What does that suppose to mean?
Thanks for clarifying this issue.
*
This means you can enjoy free calls/SMS/MMS between the main and the supp line.
And RM123 benefit is not applicable to the new plans. sad.gif

*
Yes, you still can get back the points.
So, it is no harm trying your luck to get a phone, right?

I wish I can redeem too, but I am using supp line sad.gif

Points for Principle and Supplementary line are not combined ah?
*
Principle and Supplementary lines combined their points together.
But only Principle line can claim the points, so only Principle line can join the game.

MNP is currently available for only prepaid users right? smile.gif And only in Klang Valley.
Let's say the rumours which says that it should be implemented nationwide on 15th October, how can I change my mum's current Hotlink prepaid to DiGi postpaid and under my supplementary line? unsure.gif

Then, this can save her hassle for contacting each of everyone in her contact list about her number changes.

Any advice? hmm.gif
*
Nope, dear. MNP apply to prepaid as well as postpaid.

You and your mom have to walk in to convert. They will settle for you.
Yup, At the time being, there are only selected customer service centers which do MNP. Times Square, Taipan, KLCC, 1u, Midvalley. smile.gif

oh ya~ i juz gotten this news. need clarification on it.

if 2 exisitng digi prepaid line.. for example A and B.. A and B wanna b in a family..

then we need to convert A to postpiad first to be the main line, b4 B.. or vice versa..

am i rite?
*
If 2 prepaid line, either A or B will choose to be the main line. Both can convert to postpaid together, don't need to wait for the main line first smile.gif

still thinking want to get the postpaid or not. i wonder which place is the best to make the MNP and then change to postpaid? can be done in one day?
*
What is your current usage? If you use more than RM50, it is worth to get postpaid.

You can head to any customer service centre to make MNP. smile.gif
