One month with HB RS, stock everything:
1. Power and torque is good as long as there's 3 or more bars of battery and below 100KM/H.
2. Lane Keeping features works excellent, very gentle and is surprisingly able to handle 90 degrees curves.
3. Friends and family very happy with the spacious interior.
4. Very comfortable ride, especially with Malaysian roads before they start redoing for elections.
5. City driving (pun intended) with regular jams, 21KM/L.
6. With music on or having a conversation, barely notice the engine coming on and off.
Now the bad stuff.
1. Without 3 bars or above 100KM/H, acceleration is... meh. But the battery usually last unless you're keep trying to overtake, slip between car lanes like motors.
2. Be VERY CAREFUL when using the Lane Keep Assist along with Cruise Control, KEEP YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKES at all times. It doesn't "see" cars cutting in from sides at speed (people cutting in from sides in highway) and only focuses on strictly maintaining the distance to the car infront. Had multiple case of car still trying to accelerate when mdfkers cut in from sides.
3. Acoustic Alert is annoying, had to turn it off everytime I start engine.
4. Shocks are VERY SOFT. Have multiple instances of back tyres hitting the wheel well when coming down from flyovers. Body roll handling during turn is not very confidence inspiring.
Overall still pretty satisfied with the purchase. The 2 things I would change:
1. Would like to try stiffer shocks. Anyone knows if this would impact warranty? And around how much would it cost?
2. Wider tyres. It's not too bad right now, but wider would look better imo.
