I know some malay back in my hometown, everyday at night just open ramly stall outside mamak for few hours. Seem like that is their entire work because i always see him doing nothing in afternoon at kopitiam. Open 1 burger stall few hour at night really can survive? How much able to earn per month?

Last time waiting for SPM results I sell burger, 8pm-11pm. 3 partners, 3k each per month.

What do u mean 3 partner? 3 ppl at the stall or take turn?

3 of us share cost to build the stall, buy the equipment and come up startup cost. Then we each have our own tasks, one guy to cook, 2 guys to prepare and layan customers.

Average 3k per person per month.

Some working wife already happy their jobless husband dont waste their money on useless stuff, if got the motivation to do burger stall that is like already bersyukur.

True, some people look down on burger stall operator because assume that they have no education and think that is the only job they can do.

I have even seen 1 burger stall have 5 workers. Only 2 working the remaining 3 sitting at the table playing hp.

Assume 1 customer for every 5 minutes
1 hour = 12 customers
Open 4 hours = 48 customers

Average 1 person order ayam / daging special = RM 4

Daily revenue = 48 x 4 = RM 192

Assume product cost 50%, so margin 50%

Net profit = 192 x 0.5 = RM 96

26 days operation = 96 x 26 = RM 2496

Just roughly.. I think profit margin is around > 60%

ive operated a burger stall during my university days over a decade ago under koperasi. easily about 200 buns a day. average price is RM2.5/burger. that is in university campus. and we share among 4 others + koperasi cut.. average 1K income per head depending on total sales. 4 hours work per day. but this is university campus lah... customer flow non stop. preparation for burger stall can be done during opening hours itself.

somewhere 6 years ago, my business doing very badly. just to earn a bit extra i took part time flipping burgers at night. average sale 100-130 buns a day. store making average sales 15K/month. the owner have 3 stalls and usually hires 2 workers per stall.

Cost was relatively low, I don't remember how much per burger but if I was not mistaken for a basic burger then was RM1 or less. Buying in bulk lowers the cost. You can buy a few boxes for burger patty(this is the biggest cost) and store in freezer. For buns/vege/onions etc you have to buy daily for freshness. Cheese, mayo, sauce also can be bought in bulk.

It all depends on location, competition and your product also. If product is super sedap then of course you get regular repeats.

Any brand good enuff to replace Ramly patties? Ramly is quite expensive, if have any equivalent taste and texture I wish to switch brand haha

It's not just about the patty but how you cook it, so far I haven't really tried all brands but best one is home-made hands down.
