Here goes, I once transfer a few pictures into my computer from my phone via a card reader. While I was on the computer, I did some modification to it and I accidentally changed the picture file type into read-only file type.

Without me realizing, I transfer back the picture into my memory card and move it into my default image folder which is in the phone memory itself. Now i'm not able to delete or move it.

Can anyone give me profesional suggestion on how can I delete it? By the way, my 6230 OS has never been modified before.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

(Am I even in the right section?)

I've tried accessing my phone storage using Bluetooth but not using pc suite. I've tried using blueSoleil but not working bcoz it doesn't have the function for me to convert the folder to edit and read only mode.

Use card reader to read the card and delete also cannot? Didn't read properly.......

If the picture is not big, then no need to care so much since it won't eat too much space..
Have you tried to access to your phone memory via USB Cable?

Althought it is not big and it is only 4 pics in a folder but it is quite big compare to my built-in memory. I don't think 6230 is compatible with a USB cable.

Then I think format is the only way for you.. maybe back-up all your contacts and important data to your memory card first and do a format?

I'm not sure about this, maybe you can check the Mobile Phone Codes thread which is located here. But you might need to read the post one by one and find the code.. or maybe someone else can help you about the format.

Can't delete bcoz blueSoleil doesn't have the function that allows you to modify folder properties.

If i were too move it, it is possible to move to my memory card but the original stays at the same folder which is in the phone. In another word, it's a duplicate biggrin.gif

Impossible. You are not copying phone book

Move to your memory, write or re-write yourself in your pc.

Then move it back

It doesn't work. Let me put it as simple as possible, the folder is a read-only folder. No moving or deleting.

Have you tried to format using that code? To back-up the datas in your phone, just copy them to your memory card and then from your memory card to your PC(Need a card reader for this)
