Hi,

i have a small kitchen and it is very hot and humid during cooking.
I plan to get a portable aircond 1 HP from Midea initially but now thinking of getting properly1 small Panasonic Aircond on the wall.

Any advice?I have never come across any1 fitting aircond in an oily environment.
Please advice.

Thank you.

The aircon will be clogged in a month from all the cooking oil.

Best is to find someplace to vent out the kitchen smoke using 2x 12" KDK exhaust fan

You don't need air-cond in kitchen. It is going to suck oil vapor and and all kind of smell and contribute to special house smell laugh.gif

What kind of house? Cannot have ventilation or put a good hood to vent not only smell but heat out?

This is good example where ppl will said if u have nothing better to said then please be silent(this is saying in a good way).
Because I am genius and i know why i need it:
1)Is hell hot bc kitchen is small(is not a little heat-u retarded head[dont simply come and give conclusion])
2)My family members have skin condition

So solution is cooling apparatus. My limited knowledge,i only know aircond will do the work.Yes i am aware of the oily environment.

Your hood vent outside or just circulate inside kitchen?

Many design kitchen with windows next to hobs, thus making hood less effective in venting heat out.

Blow using the fan to exhaust or add additional fan to suck out. A little bit of diy needed. I'm not saying much. Use you own way...

You need to plan air movement so it is in one direction. If you want to put air-cond, then you may not want the air-cond to suck the air from kitchen.

If the cool air can come into kitchen from kitchen entrance, then you can cool down that area. So that when hood suck air out, the cooler air from the entrance can breeze in. The air vent has to be on the opposite side.

It is just n idea how to prevent from kitchen from becoming heat trap area.

I strongly agree with this.
have thought about it initially.
Apaprently the kitchen part the air flow seems to be bad likely due to the house design/position i assumed.
Things got worst when the cooking start.
For ventilation, i have my kitchen hood on and have tried using fan and kitchen door open to outside.
It doesnt seems to make any much better airflow and heat dispersion.
Strong possibility of small kitchen i though.
