I don't think the mod should ban anyone because he/she mods his/her Wii to play legit or illegal copy of GC/Wii games. We couldn't care less if they bricked their own Wii.
What we do care for is this forum.
See... forums are made of bits and bytes that need a persistent store. And the internet aren't a mesh of literal clouds that form by itself. This forum needs to be hosted on physical hardware such that we could spam to our hearts content. And to do that you need cash.
Now where do we get this cash to host the forum. It certainly didn't come from donation. It came from ads space posted everywhere on the forum and the main site. One prime example is the Intel ad smack right next to the lowyat.net's logo. So do you really think any reputable company would sink money on ads at this forum if it's filled with discussion on mod chips even though it's marginally legit?
Seriously, rules are in place for a reason. Please adhere.
