2) Payment didn’t deduct from both balances and auto performed a quick reload (via BigPay) and deducted RM 320 to Lazada.
3) Cancelled purchase, Lazada mentioned it’s refunded.
4) Refunded to BigPay? Or TnG balance? So far still no sign of refund yet in BigPay or TnG. How long does it take typically? A week I supposed?

when/what time?

usually card has a void funtion for "same-day" cancellation of transaction. that means the txn will be voided and not sent for processing.

same-day cutoff usually around 11:30pm till midnight, depending on bank's daily cutoff processing cycle.



your case, i guess you did it earlier today, hence void could have been triggered by Lazada.

bigpay also got their daily cutoff, so, my guess is it will be processed by end of today, then refund should be relected from tomorrow onwards.

what is known now can be obsolete the next minute. TNGD can tweak their policies as and when they deemed necessary.

they are the platform owner, we cant dictate how they run their own platform/business.

average 3 days, usually Fri cash-in, simmer during weekend, then cash-out on Mon/Tue.

also, 7 days is just an arbritary number, it doesnt not represent anything anyway laugh.gif

speak of the devil, TNGD careline replied, asking for more specific questions instead of broad/generic replies.


Seems like my GO+ Cash-In was blocked (didnt check CC reload function, not going to waste money) because of PREVIOUS cc reloads > GO+ > Cash-Out.

there was no warning or alert to this.

my next reload was from debit/prepaid card + reload PIN > ewallet successful (seems normal) > but blocked from GO+ Cash-In.


now their follow-up response is:

"We have noticed suspicious activities on your account, leading us to believe that your card security may have been compromised. We take the security of your accounts very seriously and have taken proactive measures to protect your eWallet and GO+ account from potential fraud."

yes yes i know your intention (or spinning stories) is good but this is obviously NOT proactive measures at all if you only block AFTER the-fact and I still can spend the ewallet fund yawn.gif

p/s: The 2 cards in question are UOB YOLO and AFFIN DUO CASHBACK card; which was reloaded into tng ewallat in April

if upfront (prior to go+ launch) they blocked CC source of fund from going into Go+, this so-called "proactive measures to protect your eWallet and GO+ accounts" should not happened or at least largely mitigated.
