I am using credit card just because of cashback, no point to top up TNG with CASA, I could just do online transfer directly from my CASA

Btw i have no idea what is the linking for, or it does not work.
Its supposed not allow u to login another device right? has to contact TNG if u need to login another device correct me if im wrong.

I still can login another device without issue and does not need to re-link again. Just cancel/press anywhere the linking popup will go away.

This is weird. I only use TnG on one phone. Cleared the data and after enter phone number and PIN, it show the face scanning immediately. Maybe you had one linked device unlike me where I never link before IINM.
I cleared the app data and now it will pop up face scanning during login. This is stupid.

Hmm.. Another weird thing I noticed.

I cleared data, uninstall etc. Now, the annoying prompt to link device is back. Meanwhile, in the "linked device" setting, it still shows the previous linking date (of this same device).

I'm guessing this means their "linking of device" data is stored locally and clearing the data somehow messed up something.

- same device
- same account, no other logged in

Also, I've never come across any usage for Tap Secure. All transacted via scan and pin.

Maybe one day..haha. Never wanted to give any more info than necessary to them anyway.

For now, I just wanted to get rid of the face scan during transaction, and CS gave the usual troubleshooting reply. So I did, and there it is again, that same old annoying and imposing prompt.

So you did face scanning when linking your first device? I hate this as the face verification data cannot be delete as per TnG FAQ, even my bank do not require my face data.

You can disable the face scanning in the settings so what is the point to force that on the user?

It's a must. After a few days of grace period, you won't be able to T@NGo without linking. At least, that's what happened to me.
