Hi all,
i have tried to search this topic and found discussion around 2014 thats not really up to date to current technology. Maybe...
So i would like to aks all sifus, whats is the good brand that able to heat up water faster for storage type heater within 25 liter to 30 liter.
i found JOVEN and HYDRO ONE heater quite famous but its just my opinion.
Anyone here have experienced with small water storage to have faster heat up process.

I know the best heat up for sure from instant heater, but i found instant heater not giving good appearance in the bathroom compared to storage tank that able to hide on the roof. tongue.gif

Thanks

The other brand that you want to lookout for is Pecol.

Generally you dont need to heatup and shower, the previous heated tank do hold the heat, which is enough for the morning bath.

23L good enough for me.

32L if you use other place such as kitchen, basin, other shower.

My main family home uses a 100L Seers water heater. If you have more than one bathroom then this is the one to go for as it is fast to heat up the water and low power consumption.

Most of our rental properties have Joven heaters for the simple reason that they are cheap to buy, cheap to maintain and reliable if you install it properly. Another one that is worth looking into is Meru water heaters, though better known for their solar heater systems these ones are not a bad choice, one of the condos we own came standard with it and a 45l tank takes 10 minutes to heat up in the early morning.

i don't know what is my storage tank heater brand and size but i just need to on the power and go shower of coz with 100% hot then gradually increasing the cold water mix. Do note, this is from zero hot water to really hot by the time I finish applying soap. I don't think u need to even start it 5 mins before you shower unless you are looking at extremely hot water.

on another note, your storage heater will still store the heated water if you don't consume it. it will take few days before it totally cools down.

unless you stay in a low temperature environment, i cannot understand why do you need super fast heater? alternative, go for bigger size so it can store more hot water.

It depends how many people will be using from the storage water heater. if only one person, 30L will do. unless u take hours to shower or u're planning to swim in your bathroom tongue.gif but if more than one person, better take higher cap. You can check out Centon brand. The heating stops when the water in tank reaches 75oc and start heating again when temperature goes below 70oc. but usually takes half or 1 day to drop to tat temp if untouched, so don't actually have to turn off the switch.

Can check out the link below. Seller very helpful with my concerns and patiently explained all the technical details.

Safer vs what? You are talking about storage water heater. If the heating element has problem it will short and your ECB will trip. You have minimal direct contact with unit so not much safety issues.

I use hydro1 extension water filter but not their storage water heater unit. Personally I think Elton and Joven are the two good ones. I have both and they are ok
