some dogs are sensitive to protein lor .. u see which kibbles ngam germaine, then jz stick to it better. Don't keept changing brands lor. So far, Hepy's okay with Nutro, Nutri, and Blackwood. But I'm sticking to Blackwood coz it makes his poops odorless . After his lamb & rice BW finishes, I'm going to try some other BW flavour .. hehe.

if Germaine didnt show any problem after Germaine eat it , so it mean Germaine okay with the food .
Orijen is a good food i think u saw pennywise's Casper also cannot handle too much protein .

I not that rich mah, so kibbles for FIFI is the medium grade one loh, not the best, not the worst, thats y i choose BW, nutro, nutri(poo to smelly, dun wan this again), acana and eagle pack. and i think high protein food are those out door and big size dogs, in door dogs dun exercise much, so dun need too high protein gua............

I scared FIFI sees me will pee on me. hhaa u mentioned b4 that fifi will happy till pee.
My relative shih tzu wil bark like hell when saw my aunt, My aunt everytime go my relative's hse wan, but dunoe why that shih tzu sees my aunt so many many times liao but still bark at her like strangers.. But no bite lor..

At first when i walked in the house the shih tzu will bark at me to carry her up. then when i carry her up, she diam diam and flash her tummy at me, wanting me to rub her tummy. My relative say she likes me coz i everytime sayang and play with her. Her barking at me is different how she bark at strangers, I think the shih tzu is very nice. Nice light beige colour with pinky nose. The face not black black wan.

hahahha nvm lor..get ur future maltese more exercise and it depend wan la..if ur furkid eat the dog food and it ok with it then just stick back to the kibbles lor...if always change dog food brand no good oso lor

Digitral- hahah.. if orijen doesnt suit my maltese(choy,touch wood) then ma wasted the whole food.. not cheap too.. But if he doesnt suit orjien also not bad, hahaha can buy cheaper wan.

Looi- Ya not black lei, pinky one. So cute and nice. Ur shih tzu everything black .. hahaha..

if it cannot handle so much protein no choice then have to change dog food edi lor

Protein will naturally be high for dogfoods like Orijen and Innova Evo coz made from real meat. If you bring your dog for weekly walks or play alot indoors, then it is ok. Such rich foods should not be fed to senior dogs coz they become inactive and protein can lead to weight gain.

That is why got senior dogfood.... it is lower in protein and calories....

Always stick with the brand you find suitable for your dog. Changing brands on and off can lead to dog becoming picky. Just like feeding treats and human food, sure get picky dogs. Small breeds tend to be pickier than large breeds but that is just averagely lah coz each dog got different taste.

For me, I still think California Natural is great for senior or inactive dogs. If you got an overweight dog, CN really can help. My lab was once a chubby girl, eat CN low calorie diet, she lost weight and now can see got figure hahahah... last time look like bloated sausage.

u ever tried eukanuba tasty sauce? its sauce made from meat. And i think it really taste good. juz pour on the kibbles.

Hahah... it is a waste of money.... I bought 1 and tried long time ago.... sauces can make your dog have bad breath and develop gum problems coz it softens the kibble. Can cause tartar build up. It may say made from real meat but the taste, very fake.....

Sensitive to protein, you won't know till you try it. Normally a dog would show protein sensitivity by shedding and having itchy skin.... flaking skin can also be a problem. Or you can check with the vet to know more about it. Sensitive to protein, the breeder would also know about it.... coz sometimes it can run in the family line. Some dogs are allergic to beef and chicken so that is why got fish base dogfood.... some are sensitive to all sorts of meat protein so that is why got vegetarian dogfood...

hahah... our dogs will know when they are full or not. 2 meals is like the max to give... 1 meal is ok for indoor dogs but for outdoor dogs, it's like torture coz they burn up so much energy hahahah.

hahaha , I see.No wonder Pretty sumtimes will eat 1 meals only .

for one thing he is always indoor so he don exactly get to exercise a lot thats y he growing fatter and fatter a lot a lot de ler...and very fast oso...
thats y i never intend to gv him orijen coz i think it will make him even fatter faster ler...later really bcom 1901 liddat de sausage bun
