I mean I only turn the coldness to 1/2 max and blower is always 1 and rarely go to 2.

Anyone can confirm that the Compressor warranty is 5 years/100k km?

Seen from FB post someone got their compressor replaced because HQ said the warranty extended from 3 years/60k to 5 years/100k

Bro, please check your service book or manual. Usually the warranty parts, T&C is all listed in it. Different batch may not enjoy the same warranty.

About Compressor Unit Warranty
1st SC: Q1 : NO, Perodua SDN BHD already state officially (which ever come first), 3year/100k, You can call us for arrangement, & if your part failure due to our weakness then we will cover your warranty base on our report & advise from HQ

2nd SC: 1st Model Axia 5 years warranty, other newer models 3 years.


Compressor Magnetic Clutch

1st SC: Whole set will be replace, whether under warranty or purchase by customers.

2nd SC: Depend on damage.. Can change separately. If Compressor itself no issue, Yes.. We can change magnetic clutch only.


About Fuel Pump/Filters

1st SC: Said if fuel filter sock clogged better change whole fuel pump assembly. (Probably can change fuel filter too?)
Original text: "atf oil recommended change every 40k km , then atf filter recommended 80k km @ 4 years, and for fuel filter better change whole set fuel pump"

2nd SC: Only change when problem, because not maintenace item. (Dont know if they mean the whole assembly or the filter only.)

I guess this is fair, it takes atleast 120k mileage before you experience any issue with dirty fuel filters anyway. And most ppl only change when the engine suddenly die/ can crank but cannot start engine.



Both SC say different thing, both can be located on Perodua site, only difference, is the name 1st SC is Perodua Sarinani Motors and 2nd SC is Perodua Service Centre (Juru). 2nd SC their manager have @perodua.com.my email, and does not contain any private company name.

I suggest going to Perodua SC that is directly under Perodua/Perodua name only, they probably can source individual parts for you so the repairs are less expensive. (From my own experience with 2002 Kelisa before bought Axia).

Rm200 is very cheap for this amount of work. Most outside shop if open dashboard will charge you few hundred in labor alone. Are you sure that’s the price at p2 sc?

Yeah compressor can last over 10 years without changing the oil if u lucky. Then just change everythg for 2k when the time comes.

Or u can spend rm150 every 2 years like i do. Penang island got two shops i go to not bad.
One is a small shop right behind DRG motorsport, need use back road a bit and tight road. A lot customers but they dont cheat u.

Another is Chiew auto aircond service near golden triangle. I top up gas and also flush my aircond oil here. A bit pricier but good. If electrical issue he will sub to other shop and u prepare to get your head chopped.

Wow only rm150. I just spent rm250 to have the oil and gas exchange/renewed using the machine. My car only need 400g r134a. And this shop is like backyard type.

Nowadays is going around 2xx range for full A/C machine service, from what i know 100 is for flush, while another 1xx++ is for refill gas & compressor oil depending on your car A/C capacity. If got change oil rings or other stuff will add up.

Flush and change compressor oil using machine. Topup the dirt will still be there.. and usually it wont reduce unless got leaks

if less cold, the compressor n condenser fan will start stop more often.
more cold, that thing will run longer and less start stop..

sometimes more start stop will damage earlier..
