Thank you so much for taking time to paste the list and link notworthy.gif

Now still deciding if to do PPF or coating besides tinting. The shop which the SA giving RM400.00 tinting voucher is chasing me like mad sweat.gif

See first post here https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4997599 and mucheno's update https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4997599/+2080.

For me, I also check scratches on the wheel rims, paint job.. most can be removed by agent using wax but some scratches to be replaced under warranty.

Copy paste below:

What are the tasks or inspections need to perform before signed the acceptance form?

1) Correct car plate no, chassis no, owner details on the JPJ vehicle registration vs. the car.

2) Inspecting interior & exterior for any defect and known defect listed below:-

Missing or loose
1. Wheel nut cap
2. Roof rail cap
3. Side mirror bottom cap
4. Toolkit
5. Spare tyre

Defects
1. Interior door plastic defect near small speaker beside side mirror
2. Door and boot not perfectly aligned
3. Both side aircond vents working and air blowing out.
4. Rear door alignment
5. Incomplete paint job and painting on stickers.

Others inspection
1. GPS working
2. Tyre brand and wheel spec per model (Flagship)
3. Proton Linking working properly
4. Auto parking features, 360 cameras, ADAS??, ACC, ICC
5. Headlamp, frog lamp, etc to confirm working and not scratches/damages.

3) Free gifts (if got any agreement)

4) 1st or 2nd maintenance booking/schedule (given MCO may not able reach 1000km within time frame)

Yeah I did coating and after ~1 yr 3 months the water is still beading off well.

I didn't do PPF because too expensive, I was quoted RM8-10k.. There are definitely some paints chips due to stones/dust during high speed driving but only you can decide if worth to pay for the PPF.. for me it's not worth ya so I only PPF headlights and door handles.

Good luck!

Just thinking of doing PPF on the front bumper, bonnet, wing mirrors and door cups as I understand PPF the whole car will cost a bomb.

BTW, wonder if anyone has any experience with M-Pro. The SA's RM400 voucher can only be used there and I think they are quite expensive.

The only thing that I'm disappointed about with this car is the sound system. Swear to god the sound system in my gf's old Bezza is so much better. Worst thing is that the vocal sounds so muddy.

Ya, I do agree the sound system is very bad, but when you listen to the radio via the Syok app on the IHU.....it is like 2 worlds apart.
