i change my tyre on 70k, 3yr+- range. actually due to 'makan dalam' on all 4, due to the one shop i go messed up all these long.
from stock Conti UC6 to Toyo CR1. keeping the same size. 470~480 each. now used 7~10K mileage, dry performance good. wet will 'float' a bit compare to UC6.
*outtopic* if me choice again, i will go UC6 again than this CR1 lol. the price different be like 50~70 each

any 1 change the x50 exe audio head unit before? mine is the 2011 model that monitor size 8' screen, now LCD screen koyak.......if back service center change need 2.3k++ ...... any 1 got better option to introduce?
Conti UC6 performance on rain should be much worse than Toyo CR1.
Toyo CR1 is available in 215/55R18 size
hmm. then that weird.. i feel the stock UC6 i use actually much better on cut thru potwater when you cruising 100 etc the CR1 will 'float' on 80+ and not totally cut tru the water
theres few owners who joined the club or group that already went over 100k km, surprisingly not much issue from them. somehow lower mileage ones all pop up with those common problem lol. anyway as car units we know everyone is diff, from driving style to parking etc that will affect each car diffrently.
i guess you will enjoy the power and handling (except on top speed where its kinda floating) after sending your kids to school. also since youre talking about kids. the boot space is small. thats about it
my x50 now got noise from pulley/pulley bearing/belt when idling with ac off/compressor idle speed. when rpm up or compressor kickin, that noise gone/inaudible.
belum repair...

mine already way over warranty period due to mileage. now 77K for like 3yr 2 month. my last claim actually flywheel claim on 60k+ and actually the local proton SC proactively make the claim and notify me when it arrive. as i normally drive with music playing...i cant notice there flywheel clicking loool
anyone here knows where in penang mainland can do this service? habis warranty liao 3y+. haiz need to fork out 1.5k if do in sc
actually you asking 'service & repair' or replace? if replace, you get the part, any foreman should able to do it. if service+repair the broken alternator, then looking for wireman that have repair compressor, alternator including eletronic.

maybe this sound like i 'protek' proton my N17 almera broke gearbox on 30K.... 1 of 1million they said so i don think thats comparable.
but yes, alternator, crutch actuator etc definitely x50 weak spot.
Hi.. Is a new car, battery no problem, currently mileage is 20K. The problem I facing now is sometimes start engine the brake cannot press. Sometime is normal. When cannot push start engine, I use remote car key to start car. Service center ask me to leave my car for overnight inspection. But I need car to working I off air-cond everytime I off engine
because the pressure in the brake pump will gone when your car engine off. so there will be time you need harder to start the engine, dont worry it wont broke.
if you worry, or just press brake hard enough for the push start button lights up, then start the car normally
Send for inspection and confirm faulty in early Nov
They said no stock, ask to wait
Segamat SC proactive detect my flywheel got noise when i plan the last time go SC take about 2~3week order parts. Claim take 2~3days settle. but i morning leave the car there, same evening sudah siap, i take the car next day lol
change SC. especially you already pointing the finger to flywheel, they no need 3 times to acknowledge the issue
mine flywheel noise actually much earlier than SC detect. maybe 1yr ago just not obvious, and the last time they 'errr, your engine bay seem like got noise, but by our record should be flywheel faulty. Will double confirm and get you back.'

Had major service for 40k on Monday and there is additional work that is included which is to replace the clip for the rear right passenger windows, i believe this to cater power windows issue?
by proton claim, yes. but i not sure as my unit already out warranty, and whole regulator without motor just 50-ish RMB from china. i think i not really need it.
Guys is this normal? SC said its normal but i was thinking that if the car is sitting idle for days and water seeps in and you did not assist in shaking the water out from the door then the water will stay inside there right?
