Its a bit too late at this point of time, if really want to get another car better do it as soon as possible. Most places also need at least 1-2 months queue. X70 is out of the picture, heard waiting time now is 2-3 months already.

Today the SA contact me, saying that he got info from the dealer and several other SA from other dealers as well, that upcoming X50 comes out from the factory will already be fitted with the accessories package. It is up to the customer,to either chuck up the cash in order to get their car, or wait for their car without the accessories.

If my car without the accessories cannot come before the end of the year, I might consider to cancel the purchase altogether. No use of getting the car this year, when you are forced to buy that accessories that you may barely used.

I really hope the gov will extend the SST exemption. I believe many ppl including myself who booked the car on 16th sept has yet to receive the car. My SA isn't confident I'll be getting it this year.
Really disappointed with Proton as their allocation is not following the booking number.

From picture looks like crack/scratches at both side. Could be a blessing as well for those who haven't received their cars yet this year    Let all the cash buyers & VIP's get their defect units

yes supported ur decision. fight to get x50 asap for sst rebates, but get quality concern as some owner shown here. somemore need to add few k for accessories, similar treatment as Bermaz

I agree. You won't be thinking of resale value when you purchase a Proton car.

Usually, you'd buy a Proton due to the value it gives to YOU.

For me, Proton cars usually gives me the best value (subjective to each individual) for the money spent.

Being a decently kitted, comfortable & a nice car to drive relatively to the price, are what I value most.

If not, better get a Perodua.

Does Intelligent Cruise Control combine ACC with lane keep assist?

So with ICC, I don't need to press on the accelerator, the car will just follow the car in front with a pre determined distance All I need to do is to steer the car only?

So if I only want the car to cruise at a certain speed without following the car in front, I should use ACC instead of ICC? With ACC, I don't get lane keep assist/lane centering assist?

How does the lane keep assist work when your hands are on the steering wheel? The car will override your steering to keep the car in the lane?

Honestly, dah tawar hati nak tunggu kereta nye sampai. Sebab saya follow FB page of the dealer, at least ada satu X50 delivery every 3 days. Chase SA, SA kata belum you punya turn lagi. Tunggu saja la.

If betul tak dapat kereta before 31/12, consider cancel altogether la booking semua.

Hey everyone. Long time lurker on this thread and seen every X50 video (except the new 1 hr video from Hafriz).

Getting tired of waiting 2 months for the X50 dy.. and probably will need to wait 3-6 months. Plus SST gonna kick in soon. What do you guys think between X50 Flagship vs Honda Civic TC-P? I know there's a RM30k gap but if we put that aside, would you go for it? Considered the City V but I'm not impressed that they inherited old engine and didn't provide any ADAS at all in a 2020 model for RM90k. Hence thinking of switching over to Civic TCP.

Neutral soap water to clean leather

The manual indicate the use of this to clean the interior.

What is neutral soap water and is there is simple household agent suitable for use ?
I donot want to spend RM 100 on a bottle of soap !

Just buy turtle wax leather conditioner. Usually tesco give promotion at rm29/bottles

Guys is it worth to take new x50 ? I'm using for family car and also work as well (required some spacious back booth). Friend told me x50 or x70 got alot issue and also no spare part etc. Can someone enlightened me ? Thanks
