Hi. I need advise from fellow forumers. I'm using Win 10 on M2 SSD. I recently read that disabling CSM in BIOS will speed up the boot process. But when I disabled CSM, Win 10 actually took a very long time to boot up and once boot up completed, my WIFI becomes disabled. If I re-enable the CSM, everything goes back to normal.
I even tried to re-install Win10 but the bootable USB hanged at the MB logo with an error binary message if I disable CSM. Installation is smooth if CSM if enabled.
My MB is Gigabyte B450 I Pro Wifi with Ryzen 5 2600.
Any ideas what's going on?

QUOTE(netmatrix @ Jul 16 2020, 02:34 PM) How much time do you expect to save by disabling CSM. Maybe you should consider disabling all the auto loading apps in windows start up. That is a more positive approach. Thank you for your reply. But let's just say I'm adamant about using Win10 with CSM disabled, what will be the best workaround? I don't mind re-installing Win10.

QUOTE(hashtag2016 @ Jul 16 2020, 10:26 PM) could be a bug of BIOS. If your bios already latest , pls inform gigabyte about the bug. Got it. I'll check my BIOS version then. Thanks QUOTE(sHawTY @ Jul 17 2020, 09:05 AM) After you disable CSM and re-install Windows, did you use a UEFI Windows Installer? If not, open the link below to learn how to create UEFI Windows Installer https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4636205I actually disabled CSM, booted into Administrator X mode, formatted the drive and reinstalled Win10. Things worked well for a few days but then I'll lose my WIFI again. Yes, the bootable USB is UEFI via Rufus.
