Haihh... i was rejected by Honda Malaysia for HONDA CITY 2017 GEARBOX Problem and they want to charge me RM20,000 to change a new gearbox. Reason because of poor attendance of service. For your information, my car is only 36k mileage! For example, if you are late for one term 1 year back, they still has the reason to reject you if you found out there is problem to your Honda. 5 YEARS WARRANTY is a fake gimmick? Any advice to fix this issue? i really know nothing about car. i thought i bought a low maintenance car, who knows it is not. They will call you for service for the first 2 years and made you thought to depends on the service term. they have no compassion about the MCO and want user to bear the cost at this bad times. Should i sell my underwear to pay for this stupid HONDA GEARBOX. From Helpess soul. #hondamalaysia #5yearswarranty

Most likely not since always send service centre
Its not wrong though, memang 10k the oil last buuuut your service interval based on your engine is 5k

I am lucky Bermaz assisted me to claim goodwill warranty from Mazda Japan for my faulty gearbox even it is out of warranty. Gearbox and engine are the least expected components to fail, especially within 5 years of ownership.

just dont understand Mazda Malaysia/ Bermaz / Mazda Japan design philosophy for seal for life GB oil. When there are cases of user who had GB k.o right after the warranty ended (>100k km). Mind u the GB on all mazda was normal Torque Converter unit and not the fancy DCT, it is known to last longer than DCT in general. but that practice made the GB k.o faster in our weather humid etc without the GB oil change.
dont say we can change it outside, even go SC also will not entertain to change the gb oil

Lol now car "lifetime" is set to 5 years
