Yes, it is normal. Example, just like the AAA batteries in your TV remote control or your Car Battery, they too don't last forever.

A helpful article, https://www.apple.com/batteries/

Normal, battery degrade over time.

U buy the apple care or not? If drop below 80% of something get new battery within 1-2 year term. So just trash the phone to max potential.

It depends on how many charge cycles your phone goes through. Battery health will deteriorate after time and it’s absolutely normal.

Your charging pattern plays an important part. Its not about gaming or not. Usually gamers kennot tahan see battery drop below 70%, so they plug in their phone to charge while playing.

lets say u play game until battery drop 0%, then u charge to 100%. Thats gonna leave ur battery worn out very fast. Charging battery occasionally is the best way to preserve ur battery

my 11 pro since 27th Sept 2019, now still @100%, seems weird also, my ipx and ipxs after ~10 months usage, already drop until 93-95%
daily average usage ~5h, with some moba gaming

for 11 pro i do try to charge my phone ~40% to ~80% then unplug, only once or twice charged to full if i remember correctly.

Mine is at 95% since Oct 2019.

I only charge my phone once daily - either overnight or until middle of the night.

Overcharging the phone is the no 1 cause of battery degradation.

Nah, thats fine. Your phone will automatically stop charging once it is full, especially with Battery Optimisation turned on.

Life is so much less hectic when you choose to not adapt your lifestyle based on the 'rules of batteries', trust me. Just use your phone according to your lifestyle, not the other way around.

Goes by battery charge cycle. Charge from 30- 80 next time. If you charge from <10 -> full , battery health percentage will drop faster.

Currently, im charging in when it reaches around 30-40% then charge it to about 80%. Got mine on Jan 2020, to date it's still at 100% capacity

How to overcharge the phone? Don’t iPhones have auto cut off when charged to full?

for me as long as there is no sudden restart/off is okay. my ip most of the time on wireless charging pad during office hour + fast charging before going to sleep. most of the time 80-90% rarely charge when below 50% & my battery health still 100% since november 2019. just enjoy your ip since technology already advanced unless lemon unit.

additional edited : I only use edge/side protection case whereas my back ip naked to avoid heat accumulation on the back glass during charging as battery and heat are natural enemy.
