test drive arus and brv few day back, final conclusion, my first impression was, arus ride like cheap avanza, jumping, especially on uneven road, accerarate macam berat siol.... worser than old waja... brv better ride and handling the uneven road but the power also bad... but have better NVH and soundproof..

I am planning to buy new mpv for my family. Have 4 child, all below 10. Need advice to pick mpv below 80k. Used car also can. Which one is better, Aruz, Exora, Alza or 2nd Wish?

Bro Lenovo, if you don't mind sharing, what is your budget for your new ride? I've seen your recent posts on letting go your Waja in place of Axia/Bezza, and now you're posting about Aruz vs. BRV. Perhaps by knowing your budget we could suggest several other options that you can consider for your new car smile.gif

I think aruz should be more robust than br-v. But that's just my view in terms of perodua vs honda. As a previous owner of perodua and current owner of a honda, I can safely say honda is nice to drive but IT is definitely not a ROBUST car. Very fickle, even handling it with gloves.

Same do I..looking MPV..my preferences is for used car is having at least 1 year warranty

my list

Exora - good overall but cons CVT GB and OCH issues
Aruz - good safety features but handling and comfort lack down
BRV - good car but new expensive almost 100K...sometime i think betteer by CIVIC
Ertiga - fuel saving car, quet but production stop and original part would be quite expensive
Alza - too old, handlin sampan..3rd row small and no rear AC
Sienta - its good but again the part?
Wish/stream - really old car..mechanical wear and tear is high,,,RM 60K get 10 years old car...worth it? unless buy from somebody you know and prepare cash for repair

Paying ten's of thousands for warranty coverage worth it? Which implies what you are buying something that is prone to warranty claim laugh.gif

they are still in production, so it is a new car...but they are dated model (10 years) for which probably become obsolete with 1/2 years..

Not every Exora Turbo has OCH or CVT gearbox issue.
OCH is because some owners drag the oil too long, or use cheap oils. Recommended to use full synthetic.
I have dragged my OCH for 4 years before replacing. Luckily didnt blow up. But I use full synthetic always.
CVT Gearbox, its meant to be driven normal , not to constantly drive like you stole it. Yes you can play acceleration once in a while. But like I advice - Dont race / drag constantly.
But drive at 140 for hours no problem.

And another recommendation, use full synthetic CVT gear oil. But if u drive normal, Proton CVT oil is sufficient.

Using for 5-6 years now, no issue.

The new Exora RC facelift version is not bad.
Yes the Innova maybe handsome looking, but the upgraded engine just add another VVTI to the exhaust. Exora torque will trump over Innova. And of course softer ride than Innova.

Aruz shouldn't be called a MPV. its more like a sedan which can sit 2 Hobbits or Dobby the Elf in the last row.
