Hello guys, just got a new MTB and nothing yet.

Wondering where I can get not too expensive accessories such as helmet, front/rear night light, mounting accessories and tyre pressure checker? Based in Shah Alam/Klang area.
*
Yesterday you should search lazada. A lot good offer from that.

Got check, all 27.5 and don't have L size.

OK. For helmet may be got people want to look at actual product so if go directly to local bike shop the price may be disappointing you.

For bike light, go to Mr DIY buy something like this :

user posted image

I think is less than RM10. Most important is rear light.

For mounting accessories, I not sure you want mount what items, GPS or water bottle? This one sure buy online, a lot models can be found and the price is cheap during sales.

For pressure checker, if you want just get those car pressure checker 5-50 PSI enough for your bike/car/motobike. This product only less than RM10

Ah okok. Thanks. I didnt know Mr DIY got sell this.

For pressure checker, can get at Mr DIY? What about the hand pump?
*
The light set (front and rear) really impeccable for this price range.

Mr DIY product really need luck. Some time sold out need wait long time to restock. I had seen there got sell pressure checker. But hard to make sure your location store got it or not.

You want big hand pump or small mini size ? Hand pump need buy a good one.

After that you need bike tooling. This bike tooling you need be really alert.

I see. I see how, maybe tomorrow I find time to drop by. But, I just back from Decathlon and checked and asked the people there. So end up, i bought this:

Helmet - Rockrider
Gloves - a simple entry black color
Front and Rear lights = 15/5 lumens
1 black short MTB pant
Bike handlebar bag
Multipurpose tool
Bike small bell
Bottle
As I put the MTB in my car porch without lock, I think I need to get 1. I did survey just now, but most require the bike itself to be lock with another item such as a pillar. Unfortunately I dont have that in my car porch area. And not practical to put inside the house. Any suggestions on this?

Btw, got other questions, hope you guys can share some info and tips:
1. Yesterday I ride around my area taman, for like 1 hour. Notice my butt pain, and then today I thought the default original bike seat is not comfortable and may need to change if needed in near future for better comfort. But then, I saw those MTB short pant come with some sort of cushion inside the pant. So, wearing that will help instead of changing the seat?
2. Cleaning - Although it is not so dirty yet, but if there are much more mud, is it ok to just spray water at the FD and BD, including the hydraulic brakes area and crankset?
3. Currently I just wear my basketball shoe, although I can ride it, will it make much diff if to get a proper MTB shoe? So mainly will be on the road, but I will enter the nearby and beginner level trail around my place in near future.
4. Those bike accessories, such as multipurpose tool, hand pump and tyre tube, you guys bring along together when go around off road ?
5.  The pedal 'free' to me is white color. Not an urgent thing, but, wondering if I need to change it to black color, any brand also can?

1. raleigh bike saddle is hard. Change to selle royal mach should be ok.
2. No issue and after cleaning remember lubricant.
3. Any shoe as you like as long as you not use SPD.
4. depend on where you go.
5. go to buy SMS 5051 magnesium pedal (counterfeit of wellgo MG-1) during sales can get below RM30. This price really impeccable.

Ok noted with thx.

Lubricant? On which part? Crankset?

The SMS 5051 only 1 size? Can fit?
*
chain, RD FD(spring). I not sure your crank is 2 pieces or square/octa type.

pedal only 1 size, it is exactly same like wellgo MG-1 but price different so much. Anyhow better than a lot original bike pedal.

Ah okok. As for lubricant, any brand will do?

I see. OK, noted on the paddle as well. Will check shopee for this. Hehe.

Thanks!

BTW, which part you cycle? Shah Alam?
*
Hard to advise you what brand lubricant. If you want shimano green color type grease, that one expensive.

I not stay at Selangor.

Since your bike design is like this then another important thing you need to buy is similar like this:

This is prevent your chain scratch the bike frame before it is too late.

Got it for 1.1k SGD during the clearance by Unsprung in late 2019. This is the older model. Not cheap but this is the last shock i will need to buy. lol.
Did he ask Push directly? I had mine resized for nomad v3 to v4 through Unsprung in SG. Definitely possible, but its not cheap.
If you buy from Unsprung, they provide the warranty and service but you have to send it to them in SG.

Hi All,
Does anyone know what is the latest face mask rules for cycling? Do we need to wear face mask when going MT Biking or Cycling on the road, around taman?
*
Just follow the SOP enough. Exercise like jogging / running / cycling no need wear mask during the period. Only need to wear mask if chatting at the garden or end of exercise .
