I admit I did not see the whole video, but what I saw was....

First bill he show have tunggakan RM 105. So actual bill about RM 360 per month. After solar installation is RM 100, for every month reduction of RM 260. Let's say RM 300 saved every month. Investment RM 25,000 to get solar installed. So 7 years to break even? What am I missing here?

I think the best way to get into solar is not expecting the roi too much. Once you get into that roi mindset is pretty difficult to justify it sometimes.

Well then there's the environmental cost; the cost of manufacturing and producing the panels. Mining the materials, transport, production, the factory, human labour etc etc all factor in. Of course with non-renewables also got these to factor in, but if you're switching because of environment, this should be considered. If you can't be bothered to calculate the ROI from the energy price standpoint, for sure as hell you're not gonna factor in the environmental cost of switching to solar panels (and how long before it pays for itself). So to say switching because environment but can't even be bothered to think about ROI, is just load of crap.
