hallo all im new here!haha....my lc is hand clutch!
i from penang too!
i wan to ask where can brought the NOB1 sss pipe in penang!
can i goint u all in tt?

Yes of cuz u can join us for TT ^^ but then i will be out of town for almost 2 months due to work
so i'll see u guys after mid april de...
Hey everyone.....I'm new here...my name is Calvin~nice to meet u guys.....Spayz, smaba18....know who i m?
Not really. As I mentioned, the engine is still nice after 12,000km on odo without air filter.
TK Racing valve, stiffer one. I also ported my cylinder head for smoother airflow into the valve. The engine is very smooth now, after hard throttle and suddenly let go the throttle, won't feel a sudden 'pull', the bike js slow down smoothly (even with 2nd gear).
I just got my bike back at 8.15pm today. Last Wednesday 11.30am until today, omg...

Yeap, super expensive.
Yea, they earned a lot. Sepang is cheaper, RM140 - RM150 first hand. Another brand called ABM exhaust, low end slightly lose to NOB1 SSS, but high rpm win slightly, selling at RM110.
Added on February 24, 2009, 12:33 amShort Carburetor ReviewThe most important task for a carburetor is the get the correct air/fuel mixture into the intake manifold --> intake valve --> combustion chamber.
How to know a carburetor is good? A good carb can channel the air/fuel mixture very quickly into the intake manifold. A bad carb will channel the mixture slower.
How to distinguish if a carburetor is good?
Look at the intake mouth (the one connected to airbox).
It should look like a funnel, where the outer mouth is bigger than the inner diameter. The transition from outer mouth to the inner diameter must be smooth like a funnel.
If a carb has an edge, such as the outer mouth is big, and then suddenly changed small (without a smooth transition), that carb performance will decrease, because the air flow will be disturbed by a sudden step. This will cause engine response become slow when we open up the throttle.
For 28mm series carburetor, the common one are Mikuni, Keihin and Uma Racing. Only Keihin has smooth mouth, they called it Hyper Jet / Power Jet.
In order to ensure the theory I read from book is correct, I tried 3 of them. Keihin is really performing the best, it has smoother engine response and better high rpm power.
Both Uma Racing and Mikuni is a bit sluggish when revving up to max.
Stock Mikuni does not have a step (big outer mouth to smaller inner diameter), so it is smoother than many of the 28mm racing carb (except Keihin). The response is better than Keihin 28mm because of its small diameter (remember Bernoulli Theorem? Smaller hole allows gas to flow faster). Besides, it also has accelerator pump which supplies petrol in an instance when we full throttle.
The best carb that I found is Yoshimura 26mm carb with TPS and accelerator pump. The jet needle has holes that allow fuel to flow through it. This helps to atomize the fuel into smaller molecule and hence provide much better response. This mechanism is as good as direct fuel injection. Yoshimura carb design is based on Keihin series carburetor with PowerJet. It costs around RM1000, very expensive.
So, for ppl with tight budget, Keihin PowerJet is the best 28mm carb that I can find in market now. If you got some extra $, go for 26mm Yoshimura MJN carb, hehehe. Why 26mm? Because 28mm is sluggish due to big diameter, which is too much for 135cc engine. 26mm is the best match. Please note that, 135cc Nouva LC is using 26mm BS carb and it also has very smooth throttling.
That's all for this round, hope I can help those who plan to mod carburetor with my 2 cents here.
when we meet up 1 day i want u to listen to my engine noise then u teach me how to make it smoother
