Sharing info from my axia 2024, toyo cr1 175,65 r14
26k+ kms, grip is still decent Thread about 30%+, but the tyre noise is pretty obvious and it's starting to bug me. Even when it's new also it's quite noisy, so I'm not sure if it's the tyre that's making most of the noise, or is it the the lack of insulation.
I've got no good comparison as my previous car was running rovelo tyres.

QUOTE(zeng @ Jun 7 2025, 02:08 PM) In the absence of a current wheel alignment report for front and rear tires, IF the tyre lifespan can't exceed 50/60K km with a residual tread depth of 1.6-2.0'ish mm the tyre noise may be an indication of a wheel alignment issue. Hope this helps, alignment about a month ago This post has been edited by waka14: Jun 8 2025, 01:09 AM Attached thumbnail(s)

QUOTE(littlefire @ Jun 3 2025, 09:50 AM) I believe depending on the road surface and also owner preference, i got friends also complain about tyre noise from CR1, but for my Kelisa 165/55/r14 size seems normal even when compare to previous Yokohama ES32. if not satisfied, may change to other brand in future. That's interesting to know, how's your mileage vs noise from the cr1 so far?

QUOTE(zeng @ Jun 9 2025, 01:26 PM) Holyshit you have a messy and big wheel alignment problem on hand to handle bro, if ever it could be overcome. No, it's not tyre brand/model/manufacturing/design problem. Sorry,i don't quite understand how bad is it. First glance looks very minor. You'll need to elaborate further, car is only 1 year old+. Axia 2024 Alignment adjustment according the the reading on the right. This post has been edited by waka14: Jun 9 2025, 01:28 PM
