Anyone is using TY CR1 or BS Ecopia 195/60R16?
*
CR1>Ecopia in many ways

CR1 is grippier, less noisy, and less rolling resistance. Used the tyre for a year now after changing from Ecopia.

Feels like CR1 is the best among all equivalent range of tyres

I had CR1 on my Alza as original equipment and after change to Hankook Eco2 I feel much better in both dry and wet grip. Only thing CR1 done better is the CR1 slightly quieter.

From my observation, CR1 fitted as OEM on new cars (alza, corolla cross) have different thread design than the ones selling outside. Not sure if that makes any difference in performance.

Yes, in term of budget.
Everything got pro & con, if want better braking, cornering performance might need to pay higher for others.

Thread peel off and rot is totally different ya, a lot of premium tires due to softer rubber compound will encouter similar issues. Bridgestone, Yokohama, Pirelli, Continental also i seen some tire model also can treads peel off. FYI the outer rubber is way more durable than you think, if you dont want to see the peel off buy those budget tires but dont expect similar benefits.

the ps4 rot is so bad, but the tyre shop guy say still can use.

meanwhile budget tyre looks nice even after so many years
