already clocking more than 12,000 km on this tires....very confident driving during wet and heavy rain, having no problem at all...it could be  due to tires or my AWD ....not sure about that....NVH also good ….however its sidewall quite soft ....high speed driving of more than 180km/h also feel confident on this two tons SUV...

Do you speed all the time and like to take corners fast? If yes the go to a race track. On a serious note yes the side wall of the  CR1 is kinda soft but still within reason.

When taking corners at speed you can kinda feel that there is some tyre play/squishing and losing grip (dunno how to explain since its all in to driving feeling). As long as you dont drive like a dumbass then no need to worry.

One of the softest tyres i used before was the primacy LC, really soft and scary in the corners

Changed 4 tyres from Bridgestone Ecopia to Toyo Tires CR1 today (21/1/2022).

Driving Experience after 89km + evening heavy rain:
-Immediate impression was this a very very very quiet tyre in comparison to my previous BS Ecopia. Road noise barely audible at lower speed.
-Dry braking: No difference compare to BS Ecopia (new or old)
-Wet braking: Tbh, BS Ecopia is still slightly better in this category judging by my pedal braking force applied.

Will revert soon after clocking more kilometres along the way.

Verdict so far: Cheap & Good.👍

Unrelated point: Myself being a huge CR7 fan, the tyre imprint CR1 holds significant importance to me 😛
