it seems like mix up color.. took white color key pad change with black...

Ya ya me too, either pure black or pure white.... mix up looks like wired

Dun worry man, if you dun like the ear phone original come with the phone, you can plug in any normal ear phone which you feel confortable (The male connector size must able to fit the earphone female connector) , this is why this model's of ear phone connector is been design for.

SE knows that some ppl might not confortable with the ear phone they design.

Guys try do this experiment


1) Change your theme to GROUPED (The one come with the Phone)
2) Press Minimize / Maximize button (The one on the D-Pad , below C button)
3) Once press you will be in "My Shortcuts" , try scroll up and down....
4) Do you feel is abit lag on there ?

Once i change back to Walkman Theme, all was smooth back. I got tried use other theme, some theme will causes lag during scroll up and down.

My firmware is : R1JG001

Hahaha Me too me too...until just now only go tried the infra red....
However until now still got lots of thing not yet tried.....such as....

- 3G (Coz i am digi user)
- Email
- Online Using Bluetooth (As stated on first page of this discussion)
- Track ID (Expensive coz need gprs, i wonder if i using online using bluetooth will charge or not )
- Surf Net using GPRS (Expensive for me and slow)
- PlayNow Function (Never Use since my old K700c until this W850i, donno wat to play)
- Code Memo (Donno wat is that )

Try view back few page of this treat, we already discuss this light sensor not long ago, you can clearly know why did it happend from there

You mean update firmware?

If yes, you have to do like this
-- Download the latest Update software from SE website Support --> Firmware Update session, choose your model and they will bring you to the software download
-- Download & Install it and let it update.
-- Off your phone , took off sim card, plug back battery
-- run the update service program, once they come to a menu with START Button
-- Click Start button
-- then on your phone , press & Hold "C" button while the phone leave it in OFF condition and plug in the cable
-- The program will automatic install some driver, you need to choose let windows automatic install it...
-- Then after done, if the screen ask you release "C" button then you release it, then just follow instruction until they ask you unplug .....

After done upgrade firmware, put back your sim card and on phone...

just that simple ^.^ correct me if wrong or refer page 1 of this treat

Dun worry la... just go for it, if you scare, still remember where you download the firmware update software from SE website ? At the same place got instruction manual too...just follow the manual and do , wont facing problem much.....

Me already update for 3 times liow....
As long as you follow instruction should be ok ..

Try start from 0 again...uninstall the update software you had install, and re-install it.... then follow instruction from the manual.

** 1st Page of this treat got shortcut to the update site, go look look...read the instruction fully then only start update.

But i found that might be THEME problem... coz i use original Orange theme is ok..but i use the GROUP THEME will lag, then i got download lots of theme, some will some not..

You all try experiment it..see is it really the THEME who cause problem.
Last time got somebody (i forget his name) from here told me that Theme with Flash effect might cause lag , coz took high resources compare to normal Theme

I just finish update my firmware to R1KG001

Found that Java really load fast abit then usual ,
beside that, Splinter Cell DA previously was keep on hang during play...now ok a lot....( even still got hang , but not so frequent already ).

By the way, wanna know ...
Any of you during upgrade firmware, did not took out the sim card?
From the manual it says took off the sim card only continue do update...

But i was wondering..is there any ppl here got try without took out the sim card?

I know SE got Theme Creator, but it seems like does not support Import flash....

Yup, i already got the flash 12 icon menu (SE Phone Menu) in flash type....
just wonder how to apply on exisiting theme.
