Maybe due to "validity" issues in PRE-paid plans. POST-paid doesn't have validity "policy"/"restrictions"...

Oh one more thing, why POST-paid must pay 6% SST and PRE-paid no need...? A mystery that should be solved by someone in Negara Malaysia...LOL...

However, since DiGi PRE-paid plans mostly have "Always Active" feature, then, validity (for SIM and data) is not an issue anymore. Therefore, can topup anytime we wish without the worry on validity expiry date of the PRE-paid services...

Becoz Kuching City has lots of Kuching hogging the towers....LOL...

Including yg bertenggek tuh, around 3 only...

Another option:

If our house has good UniFi Air coverage, better try this 1st (non-contract plan)....

If masuk court case, sure can win .... LOL...

During MNP, no payment is required at DiGi Centres. We will receive blank/dummy/stand-by SIM card from DiGi. Wait for SMS to MNP-o. If everything goes well for BOTH telcos and we reply correctly to the SMS to "AGREE" to port out, the MNP should be effective after 48 hours from the SMS we replied.

VALIDITY is divided into two (2) types:
1) SIM Validity = allowing calls and SMS.
2) DATA Validity = Internet access via 2G/EDGE/3G/4G/5G

After MNP to DiGi NEXT, just reload/topup RM30 to get 30 days SIM validity. Then, reload RM5 (but no added SIM validity). Now, the total is RM35 in our account.

With this RM35, we can str8 buy the NEXT35 plan. Both reload/topup and buying plans can be done thru the MyDiGi app.

So, monthly commitment is just RM35 for 30 days SIM validity and 30 days data/internet validity.

Now, the DiGi's NEXT PRE-paid has "Always Active" feature. "Always Active" means our reload/topup will always have SIM validity whenever we purchase the NEXT35 plan. So, if we reload RM5 today, RM10 tmrw, RM5 next week, RM20 the week after, so long as we subscribe/buy the NEXT35 (or other monthly plan within NEXT offerings), BOTH SIM and data will always active for use. No need to worry about VALIDITY anymore.

Validity (especially SIM validity) is the major weakness in any PRE-paid services/plans from all telcos. So, some telcos offer 365 days SIM validity (to ensure we can at least make outgoing calls within 365 days). But to get this 365 days SIM validity, we have to pay like RM30 or RM28 or RM35 from various telcos. With DiGi PRE-paid NEXT, no need to worry about validity. Just reload RM35 and buy the NEXT35 plan every month.

As for me, since we are stuck at home (most of the time and most of us), me just reload RM30 every month but DID NOT buy the NEXT35. Coz, me just subscribe to free 1GB MCO quota until 31 December. On 1st January 2022, then only me will buy the NEXT35. Currently, me's account have accumulated more than RM140 for next year subscription of NEXT35.

Intermittent issue(s) is expected during 3G sunset, 4G farming and 5G emerges. Summore, DiGi and Axiata is "sharing" cell towers (until they decide to divorce in the future...).

By right, any MNPs (both POST- and PRE-paid) should be FOC in case the porting process is either:
1) unsuccessful, or
2) change of mind, or
3) did not reply properly or promptly to SMS reminder, or
4) counter offer from current telco.

Since no receipt was given out, we cannot redeem the RM10 anymore. Me suggest to go back to the kiosk to demand for official receipt in case the MNP is unsuccessful (if the RM10 per SIM is worth the hassle to travel back there...).

A-OK for the last 72 hours... hopefully nobody will touch the cell towers anymore...

As of now, the signal is "Emergency Calls Only".... somebody adjust the cell towers again... VoWiFi to the rescue...
