Your plan has 5g enabled?

When you select “buy addons - on demand”, do you see any 5g offerings?

I don’t see any free 5g activation option for my mom’s prepaid line too. Only those that come with 5g + data with cost.

Cheapest is for 1 day.

Went to the digi store yesterday. After reviewing the costs of the new plans, I decided to stick to my old Digi plan and only upgrade my son’s line from Family 20 (10GB) to Family 30 (25GB). The 5G and added data offered by the new CelcomDigi plans are not worth the added $, I feel.

Now it’s DG60 + F30 + F30 + F20 till I see something better.

That’s what the customer service officer kept telling me. Sir, these plans are ending this year. You might as well migrate now.

I said can I keep my current plan? Yes? Can I change one of my family lines from 20 to 30? Yes? Ok let’s do that and I’ll wait and see what happens next year.

This popped up under my BOS. 1 yr contract but with rm20 rebate per mth per line seems reasonable, no? 5g enabled for all lines too.

The speed caps don't really matter to me, even 100mbps is more than enough on mobile.

Am more interested to tap into 5G in areas where 5G is strong but 4G is weak, like my office.

Which data package are you on? My mom’s on unlimited 40 and the 6mbps speed cap suits her FB and YouTube needs just fine.

Unlimited social includes fast playback of FB videos? I thought it didn’t.

That makes sense but the reply above mine says full quality playback.

Never tried the social addon before. Sounds like a great option.

My mom’s on the next 40 unlimited (auto renew) plan as she uses close to 3-5 GB per day on her iPad.

I think they are more happy to give you more data than to reduce your bill.

I don’t see this 5G+10GB booster on my DG60.

This is really next level petty assholery from the telco.

One reason why I moved my own line to hotlink postpaid 40 with 5g. The other reason being that my company line will move to celcomdigi from maxis and I wanted my personal line to be on a different telco just in case.

This old plan doesn’t exist anymore (I think) but there’s a new 45 plan now which is still pretty good.

My family members are still on digi postpaid 40 with this manually activated 5g addon.
